As time passed, the greater the panic and fear grew.
"Hey, what are you guys looking for!?"
Li Yuan was anxiously searching when suddenly a hand reached out and grabbed the back of his shirt.
Turning around, he saw Huo Yishan with a bewildered expression on her face.
Seeing her, however, Li Yuan felt as if he had seen a savior, and somewhat excitedly grabbed her back, "Have you seen Qiangwei!?"
Huo Yishan was stunned for a moment, still holding a tray of fruit platters. She then smiled, "Qiangwei? She was on the stern deck on the second level. We were just chatting. She asked me to come in and get some fruit to eat!"
Huo Yishan's words, which initially brought some joy to Li Yuan, suddenly made him feel as if he had plunged into an ice cellar, his body stiffening.
"When was this?" he finally managed to ask after a long while.
"About a few minutes ago! Since the fruit was gone, I just..."
It was only then that Huo Yishan seemed to sense that something was off.
