Chapter 25 - Scene 24 : The Thing

"Well, if you want to lend a ear for a while ... hmm where should I start? ... " Lloyd looked at them all.

"I heard someone likes to play cassanova and embarrass his family ... someone always feels like a dignified heir, but in fact he is just an outcast ... I also hear that someone is have her mother set up him with someone but always end up makes his fiance flee."

Lilian looked at him in wonder. Where is the funny part he said?

Lloyd's mouth smoothly revealed one after another the news he was heard to.

"... and I heard that someone is famous for her kind-heart and delicate self. However, from the many rumors that I heard, it seems like the last rumor is fake." Lloyd turned and gazed at Lilian.

Lilian's head like being knocked with a hammer, only now did she understand that this person was talking about all of them. She saw the three nobles's face before her contorted.

Lloyd still had a smile on his face.

Tsk! So childish!

He seemed to deliberately provoke them all. Lilian would not be surprised if these three people gang up on him. But on this carriage, no matter how small their fight, Lilian was definitely affected.

"You--"

"Ahahahahaha...."

Lilian burst out laughing. Her laugh cut Richard who was ready to pounce on Lloyd. Lloyd put on a questioning expression. The three people who sat in front of Lilian suppressed their contorted expression.

"Ow, sorry, I also unknowingly remembered a rumour." Without waiting for one of them to ask, Lilian continued, still with water hanging from the corner of her eye because she laughed a lot. "I heard that there is one of the nobles who is famous for having trashy mouth, I thought it was just a rumor, it turned out to be true."

Stephen's feelings that had been bad changed in an instant. He was not exactly happy, but his feelings were far better than when Lloyd had insulted him.

Lilian could see the veins in Lloyd's neck tightened.

She grinned.

Lilian wasn't care whether or not there were rumours like that. For her, if someone spreads another person's disgrace lightly and makes unnecessary rumours, that person's was definitely rubbish.

She really hated rumours. No matter how small it is. In Ha's life that was always surrounded by gossip makes her immune to it, but who says she was comfortable hearing that?

Her manager always said do not pay attention to small things like that, unfortunately it's not uncommon for small things to be so catastrophic.

Many of her colleagues underestimate rumours about them. Instead of abating, the rumours intensified until finally it was too late and made netizens do whatever they want.

After all, her manager wasn't here and there were no rules that bind Lilian to maintain the attitude in front of people who insult her.

"Ah, I wish I can meet that person," Lilian threw her eyes out.

"What will you do if you meet him, Miss Lilian?" Stephen looked at her, his eyes brought curiosity and partly hoping that Lilian would spat out words that satisfy him.

"Well, if I meet him, I just want to remind him that his mouth can bring himself disaster."

"Are you threatening me?" Lloyd's anger was on the edge.

"Oh my, are you the one Mr. Abbotts?" Lilian smirked. "As I recall, I didn't say your name, well, but if you feel that way ... what can I say?"

"You--"

Lilian prepared to kick him if he dared to throw a hand at her.

Whether to be thankful or not, the door to the carriage suddenly opened. All head turned toward the entrance.

The driver, who was surprised to find the atmosphere inside the car, was not used to hastily bent down and reported that they had reached their destination.

Lloyd descended first after throwing a deadly glare at Lilian.

'Oh my...there is someone else again looking at her like that.'

Too bad his handsome face was wasted because of his dirty mouth. She felt her protagonist's role was slowly pace the way to antagonist. It seemed that her perfectly nature must be a villain.

From now on, Lilian should count how many people who didn't like her.

Lilian did not expect when she was last out of the carriage, Howard Hunt reached out his hand to accompany her out. There was a hint of embarrassment when his eyes found Lilian's.

"Thank you and ... I'm sorry for my impoliteness." Howard said in a voice that only Lilian could hear.

Lilian had no intention of defending them. She just acts according to her will. Lilian didn't turn her head and just mumbled. He let go of his hand when she reached the ground.

Logan was waiting for them in front of the office and led them in to their respective stations.

Five of them were placed in different parts. Today they are only required to report and remember the entire division layout and structure of the first division.

They passed through a magic fountain with all the important names of the first division head carved around the water that glides out with light.

Lilian looked at the top shiny name that ran hundreds of royal knights.

Noland Killian Lesnerg.

Her father.

Unconsciously, the tip Lilian's lips lifted. That middle-aged man was still clumsily try to showing his attention.

Lilian ran her eyes again to another shiny part. Arthur's name was also there.

"You still have two hours to be in this neighborhood. If the time is up and you are still hanging around, the guard on duty will lead you away from the area."

They would only officially enter the internship tomorrow, so today their status is still as civilians.

They were given a map to make it easier to remember. Some places on the map cross with red letters. Looked like it's a restricted place.

The division one has many places that were restricted to the public. Lilian only glanced at the map, and focused on the two rooms.

Noland and Arthur's room.

Before bending her legs to get there, Stephen called out to her.

"Miss Lilian."

Lilian titled her head. "Yes?"

"Want to go around with me?" He offered himself, Lilian was sure he was not just offering to go around together, seen from the glint of his eyes staring at Lilian.

Speaking of which, when Lilian gathered followers to destroy the Duke's house, Quinzt's house was also involved together like Delliard.

Lilian smiled bitterly as she read the thing she gave them in exchange for their help.
