"Why do I have to attend these meetings" Conner says to his guard."Because you are the prince and it is your duty to attend them" she replies. "Sarah but I'm only 16 and my friends are waiting for me down stairs" he replies as he opens the meeting room door.
While in the meeting room he notices that there is another seat open. "Father why is Sargent Tom not present." "I will tell you that later but first you need to sit down" the king replies with a nervous tone. As conner sits down he realizes that his father and the rest of the leaders are worried. "What is happening" Conner says as he knows that he really doesn't want to know. The king looks at Conner. "Son we have all decided that with all that is going on the royalty are in danger, elves where spotted at the southern wall and we fear that since we killed one of there young leaders last week. They are going after you so now you will pack up and Sarah will escort you to another palace that is safer than this one... I hope you understand."
Conner stands up and leaves as he slams the door.
Once conner reaches his room he tells Sarah his guard "were will my father go for safety." she responds "I can't tell you, for it was a order from my king to bring you to safety and come back and protect the palace from traitors and elves.Now go pack up we leave at night."
As it turns to night Conner packs his bags and goes to the royal carriage. He is now wondering, why kill the prince if they can kill the king. 3 Hours later they stop, but when he steps out he realizes that they aren't at the Red Dragon NATION. "I'm sorry your highness but we where given order to 'take care of you' in the wood for being with the enemy" one of the guards tells Conner as he steps out. "But what did I do" Conner replies getting ready to run if he has to. "You were caught playing with the magical creatures and that is treason to the kingdom" says the guard as he pulls out the sword. After Conner sees that they aren't going to let him live, he jolts to the forest and tries to hid.
