"This is so beautiful! I am so excited to be here with my girls." Mother Mei said happily as she looked at the night sky from the open window. She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, but then opened it when she didn't recieve any comments from either of her daughters. She turned around and noticed the two of them were busy with their phones, "Seriously?" Mother Mei asked herself as she watched them both.
They seemed so engrossed in what they were doing that it was obvious they hadn't even heard what she said. Lijuan was busy texting Yiling while Rong was busy with something that involved work.
"Did something happen?" Lijuan texted Yiling the moment she received a text from Yiling, saying she couldn't go over the files Lijuan had sent her. They all included different design pattern.
"Kind of. I just recieved a call from the hospital. My sister was hit by a car." Yiling texted as she tried flagging down a cab.
