After Jenny's exit, things had become somewhat awkward for them all, "I'm very sorry about the embarrassment." Chairman Wang apologized to the Mei family and turned to glare at Madam Wang who was already feeling very embarassed already.
"Don't you think you should apologize too?" He asked her angrily.
"I'm... sorry." Madam Wang said in a quiet voice.
"You should apologize to Lijuan. She's the one you accused falsely." Chairman Wang snapped at her making her grit her teeth angrily as she raised her head to look at Lijuan.
"I... am s..orry." She told Lijuan quietly as she picked up her bag, "I'll be leaving now. Happy birthday father." She said as she dropped his gift on that table and turned to leave.
"Don't forget to hand in your resignation letter tomorrow." He called after her as she left.
"But father she has apologized." Mr Wang pleaded on his wife's behalf.
