Lijuan was still a bit suspicious so she asked,
"So you mean to tell me you both spent all night talking? Not even kissing?" She pressed. Unable to believe that Shan and Jinhai had done that.
"That was exactly what happened. Enough about me, what is up with you? How did the rest of the party go?" Shan asked curiously.
"It was pretty interesting. And I just got a new bodyguard... you won't believe my new bodyguard is a lady!" Lijuan said with an amused smile.
"A lady? Do you think she could really do the job?" Shan asked with a worried frown. She wasn't sure she bought the idea of a female bodyguard for Lijuan.
"We will have to find out, but something tells me she can handle herself well." Lijuan said confidently.
"I really hope she's not going to snatch you away from me." Shan said, making Lijuan giggle.
"Be good to me and I'll keep being your best friend."
