As Yun waited impatiently for his mother to arrive while wondering what was wrong with her, he received a call on his phone. It was Mei Lijuan calling. He was a bit surprised since he knew quite well that she was not an early riser and it was just a few minutes to 7 am.
He had planned to not speak with her until evening but he knew that was going to be impossible now. If he ignored her calls, she may just barge into his house and show how angry she was. He immediately took the call.
"Good morning. Why haven't you called me since morning?" She asked a bit exaggeratedly when he answered the call. Since morning? It wasn't even 7 am yet!
"I thought you were angry with me last night? You even refused talking to me as you went inside the house." Yun asked trying to throw her off balance.
"Not angry enough to not want to hear your voice, so why didn't you call?" Lijuan asked again.
