"How have you been? Why do you have dark circles around your eyes?" Lijuan asked with a worried look the moment she walked into the Shan's house before giving her a hug.
It was the first time they were seeing since the crazy weekend. And she was feeling very guilty and sorry all over again for everything.
"I was up all night working on the proposal with Yang Corporation." Shan explained with a weak smile.
"Where are you coming from? Are you alone? What about Jackie?" Shan asked looking outside the door.
"Which do you expect me to answer first? I'm alone, Jackie is in his house I suppose." Lijuan said with a short laugh before dropping her bag and walking over to Shan's refrigerator to search for something to eat.
She couldn't believe she was hungry again when she had just finished eating so much a while ago.
"Guess where I am coming from?" She asked Shan with a girly grin.
