By the time Yun arrived at the bar, Yang Lei was already seated and sipping from a wineglass.
Yun glanced around from the doorway in search of Yang Lei, before finally spotting him. He quietly approached him and sat down opposite him.
"Hey!" Yang Lei greeted before giving Yun a handshake.
"Hey!" Yun returned distractedly as he signalled to a waiter to get them another bottle of wine.
Both guys sat down quietly without saying a word to each other as they sipped from their wineglasses. Each had a lot going on in their minds and was thankful they had someone to share a drink with.
"I ran into your brother at Ning Shan's apartment." Yang Lei said after a while, deciding that it was best he started the conversation in a way that would give Yun the opportunity to come out straight with him and not lie.
Yun sighed, "You did?" He asked without raising his head to look at Yang Lei.
