Shan turned on her phone the next morning to see a couple of text messages on her phone. Jinhai had sent her three of the text messages, one was pleading with her to return his text, the other was asking her to call him the moment she turned on her phone and that he was waiting in front of her house, while the last was him telling her he was about leaving her house and that he loved her and would wait to hear from her.
The last text startled her a bit. He loved her?Maybe he had been showing her that he did but reading the text from him was on a whole different level.
Another text was from Yang Lei, he was apologizing to her for his grandfather's mistake, and promised to sort things out.
The last was from Lijuan apologizing to her for the mess she had caused her, and begging her to be fine.
Shan sighed after reading the texts. Hopefully this day would be better than the previous day, she assured herself before standing up to leave the house.
