Sungah then turns to me waiting for my answer over her request. "So what do you say? What do you want to do? Check him out or not? It's not like it's gonna hurt you... Come on let's go!" Sungah encouraged me to go...
"No thanks.. like Greg says.. we have a lot of work to accomplish plus we are gonna meet him on the reunion anyway so why need to meet him here out on the streets." I declined the offer.
"Aww! I honestly wanted to test this spell out I've been working on but since you guys declined... I wouldn't' be able to use it! You guys are so not fun!" Sungah pouted like a little child, stomping her tiny feet on the car floor.
Greg turned to her direction with a hint of curiosity about the "spell" she was talking about. "What spell are you talking about Sungah?" He asked her nonchalantly.
Sungah giggled with pride "Only if we go see Louie I'm gonna tell you... I mean you did say WE HAVE WORK TO DO." She said daggling a carrot on Greg's face.
"You're not gonna share unless we agree to go there?" Greg said with a straight face.
"Yes.. this is like my way of manipulating the both of yall by sparking up your curiosity so that I can finally go there and see Louie and probably the food in that restaurant..." She giggled softly hinting that she wanted the food.
Greg and I both rolled our eyes since we were used to her nagging all the time for food. "Hey! What's with that look! I already told yall that to use my magic I need my food." She says hissing at us jokingly.
"So do you want to know it? Or what?" She winked at Greg seductively as if she's making this spell into an innuendo of some sort.
I chuckled over the idea as I looked at Sungah's passionate waiting for Greg's response just like a little puppy dog.
"We're busy. So let's just do our work so we can do the startup. Just slacking off is probably gonna hold us back a lot. So no Sungah." Although Greg was curious about her spell. Greg's curiosity was not enough for him to be convinced to go.
Sungah's cheeks puff up giving us both a sour expression. "You guys are so mean to food." She says with an impish smile still pouting. "If you guys don't want to go to the restaurant can we just get some take out? I'm like starving like hell."
"Sungah.. how are you like not fired yet at your old job? By the way, you're acting. You're like a child. You're supposed to be my secretary but you nag more times than those married women." I said to her straightforwardly.
"I mean of course I treat those men well.. and sometimes since they are" She giggled and then show her ruby heart-shaped pendant. It glowed like a stoplight in a night sky. An odd way to compare it but it's something I like seeing. "I had a little help from my little pendant!"
"You are gonna fired soon if you don't start acting like a secretary. It's really hard to believe that you graduated with honors.." I said jabbing at her attitude.
"How rude. I just get cranky cause I AM SO HUNGRY. Can we get some food like just a drive-thru or something?" She says softly punching the seat of the car.
"UGH FINE. Let's go to a drive-thru or something." I signaled for Greg to go and look for the nearest restaurant here. Well a fast food since we really don't have time to wait for fine dining food.
We continued driving around for a few minutes to just go look for a fast food joint that's close here as Sungah's eyes light up and shouted. "HEY GUYS! THERE'S MY FAVORITE FAST FOOD PLACE OVER THERE!" She shouted like a little kid with her face pressed on the window.
I cringed at the sight although I guess Sungah is just like that when she's hungry... and when she's not hungry...
"Hang on we're almost there," Greg said to us as we drove on the drive-thru with Sungah's imaginary tail wagging like a puppy waiting for food.
We then hear a voice on the speaker. "Hello. Welcome to Wackos what would you like today?"
Sungah leaned in forward to me and then shouted. "You're paying for this right?"
I sighed without even objecting to it. "Sure... I'll pay for it.. ugh.." Not even having the energy to argue with her considering that I did so much today.. and I'll have to do a lot more things... I need to save my energy at least...
"May I have.. 100 chicken nuggets... 2 large fries..." Sungah fiddled with her hair thinking of more things to others and Greg and I just looked at each other with our mouths wide open...
"I would also like 5 sundaes, 1 large diet coke and 1 chicken bucket.. the one with the 6 chicken drumsticks. Thank you." She smiled and then turned back to us still caught off guard. "Do you guys want anything?"
"YOU'RE GONNA EAT ALL OF THAT YOURSELF?" Greg shouted completely surprised.
"Yes. I need it to replenish my magic.. geez. Anyways... thanks so much for treating me..."
"SO THAT'S WHY.. YOU WANTED ME TO TREAT YOU. YOU JUST WANTED TO BUY LITERALLY 10 PEOPLE WORTH OF FOOD AND THEN JUST RUN. That's going on your paycheck."
"HEY! NO FAIR! THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS IS IT'S FREE! SO I ORDERED WHAT I USUALLY BUY! YOU ARE SO MEAN!" Sungah says in a childish manner.
We drove forward so that we could get our food.. well SUNGAH'S food... The man who was at the counter was cursing his life for carrying at least 7 paper bags worth of food.. this girl just eats like a lot...
"Not gonna lie... I am so giving my condolences on the person that's going to marry you Sungah." I said to her jokingly.
"Speaking of Weddings... Are you going to this wedding that someone from our high school is doing?"
