The first episode of the [Trapped] was so well received that its viewership ratings exploded in the first episode surpassing all the programs that were airing at the same time slot.
Netizens were so impressed that it was all that was talked of online. The episode was very funny as the audience watched the cast adjust to life in a village with little or no supply.
The most popular of the casts were Tammy Lee and Bai Zhenzhen and this time it wasn't because of their career but because of their funny antics.
The funniest had to be watching Bai Zhenzhen attempt to cook and nearly burn the camp.
Tammy Lee on the other hand was scared of fish.
Netizens were so amused that by the next day a short clip had already begun going round of Bai Zhenzhen failed cooking attempt that many even went into her weibo account and offered to help her cook.
The entire cast received a major boost in popularity as the show gave everyone another insight into the cast.
The show also received more sponsorship from outdoor equipment and sports companies who wanted the cast to shoot an advert for them.
Bai Zhenzhen also received an offer of an Endorsement deal from Jk sports to become a spokeswoman for their new outdoor ware line For three years.
She accepted the endorsement deal and signed the two years contract with the company.
After the second episode was aired the ratings of the show skyrocketed and so did the popularity of the cast especially when the advert of the entire cast Endorsing J k group outdoor equipment was released.
The Show's popularity worked well in Bai Zhenzhen's favour as her tv series

The youth drama was very well received that she began getting casting calls from various productions.
"Hello Senior Suyin," Bai Zhenzhen said as she sat in front of the dressing mirror.
"Zhenzhen I thought we agreed that you can call me Suyin" Suyin said smiling as a makeup artist applied her make-up.
They were filming the first episode of their show [ The Chef's cookbook ] today in the studio so they were getting ready. They had already met a few times so had gotten familiar with each other. It also helped that they were both under Sister Wenling.
"Oh it slipped my memory" she replied smiling. "Hmm, I wonder why. I saw your variety show it was really good, I feel this show is tailored to help you. We'll have to make not to let you go anywhere close to the stove though wouldn't want you to burn down the studio" She said making everyone laugh.
"No fair how else am I going to learn to cook if I'm not allowed close to the stove," She said acting spoiled.
"You don't have to learn how to cook you can always get a man that can cook then he can raise you," Suyin said chuckling silently and everyone joined her.
"You just making fun of me Sister Suyin," She said smiling.
After everything was set they headed to the studio and filmed the episode.
Later in the night the TV station sent out a post tagging Suyin and Bai Zhenzhen and announced the new show with a caption that read
"Our little fairy Bai Zhenzhen has decided to improve herself with Her elder sister The Nations princess Suyin keeping watch"
Suyin forwarded the post and tagged Bai Zhenzhen with the caption

Bai Zhenzhen forwarded the post and replied under the post saying

On seeing their friendly interaction Fans began to comment on it all encouraging Bai Zhenzhen to listen properly with a few asking her not to go near the Stove but sit back and eat.
The next day Bai Zhenzhen and Da Xia headed for an audition for the role of the female lead in a republican era drama [The Patriot ].
She arrived at the audition venue to find a crowd of actresses seared and going through the script.
There were quite a few popular actresses but Bai Zhenzhen was more surprised to see Yu Minna among the actresses auditioning. She hasn't heard much from her camp since ABC Entertainment folded by she had heard that a few of the artists left the company when it was in crisis and was accepted into other companies. It would seem that Yu Minna was one of them.
"Zhenzhen fancy seeing you here I guess you feel you are now in the big leagues after a few measly projects. You must be her to audition for a small role in the series which is much more your style not that you would get everyone knows that you aren't an artist since you don't have many projects under your name after being in the industry for nearly five years. Your company must have pulled so many strings to get you this audition. The producer has to be either stupid or blind to invite you to audition" Yu Minna said with a scoff.
Bai Zhenzhen ignored her, walking further inside.
"You," Yu Minna said stumping her food in anger and began walking forward when the assistant director walked out of the Audition room and walking up to Bai Zhenzhen and said "Zhenzhen you're here let's get inside for a script reading Tammy Lee is now inside"
"Alright," Bai Zhenzhen said and followed him inside leaving Yu Minna gaping like a fish while everyone looked at her smiling in mockery.
She'd deliberately raised her volume to embarrass Bai Zhenzhen but in the end, she was the one getting embarrassed.
After the script reading, Bai Zhenzhen left and headed back home. Two days later she received a call from the Production assistant congratulating her on being selected as the female lead and asking her to come in and sign the contract.
They began to film a month later in A city and the production team released a post introducing the casts.
