Senior Director and Chasina left the office in tow. She hopped onto his vehicle.
"Where do you want to go, Rose?" He asked her.
"Senior Director, leave me in my dad's home, " she said.
"Oh, you little lass. Stop being professional. Call me the way you call when we are on off duty. " he said as he flicked her forehead.
"Ouch!Stephen! It hurts" she said as she rubbed her forehead.
"Okay, let's go now," he said and started the engine.
The drive is going in silence. No one spoke a word.
"Lil Rose, I never thought I would see you like this," he said.
She turned her face to look at him. Feeling her stare Stephen cole.
Cole is his surname. He and Chasina's uncle are from the same boarding school. So, they knew each other very well.
Well, Since Chasina father liked business he didn't go to the same school as his brother did.
"Hen, what do you mean?" She asked.
"I saw you as a brilliant child. You are working in this department for three years. I saw you in different situations. But today is different. Why did you let your emotions control you? " he asked smoothly.
"Hen, I quickly got over it," she said.
"But you are still affected by it." He said with dominance in his voice.
" It won't happen again, Hen" she mumbled like a wronged child.
"Well, Rose, you know I don't have a daughter but I treat you like my own. the thing you saw today is a simple dead body and part of a case that you needed to deal with," he said.
"But she is not a dead body to her loved ones. Hen, did you know? Her whole body is filled with bruises and bites. She is only twelve but was raped. " she said.
"You just couldn't digest the fact that she has to go through this at an early age. And the thing you couldn't recognize is, you feel pity at her but not anything, " he said.
Chasina is struck for second processing his words. She agreed with his words. She buried her feelings before now she is clear what are her true feelings now. And now she doesn't need to worry about her death. It doesn't mean she can take it lightly. It means she can ignore it personally.
"Hen, thanks, for helping me out to clear my thoughts," she said with a smile.
"And stop calling me Hen!" He shouted.
"Just because my name has the Hen selling you shouldn't call me Hen. My wife and my children are making fun of it. Dammit!!" He said as he hit the steering.
"Ayya, Hen, you know how much I like chicken. And your name includes the word hen. So, it's a perfect name. And also im good at naming" she smiled as she patted herself.
"I feel sad for your future children. If it's a boy it might be Corden (1). If it's a girl Liluye (2). Or maybe you may name harry chick, Lily chick, chicken lollipop, chicken rice, chicken 65, and so on. Poor children, I wonder what will they think after growing up. Please leave the naming part to your husband and to the elders like us." Uncle Stephen said.
"Hen, if you don't shut your mouth. I bite your throat and kill you. I will make chilly chicken with you and eat." Chasina threatened.
"Ayya, why don't you marry a chicken. Or you may resign this job and open a chicken farm. So that you can eat chicken daily, " he said as he rolled his eyes.
She thought for a while. "Hen, it's a good idea. I will consider it. I will make you my farm manager and as well the stock manager. So, that you can safeguard them. And you don't have to worry about being ideal after your retirement. " she said with a smirk.
"Ayya, how thoughtful of my daughter. I want to shed happy tears. My daughter is becoming like a fairy. Ahhh... How should I express my happiness? Oh my God, I feel like im going to die this moment. Someone save me." He said as he laughed but he didn't know his words woke the devil beside him.
I
"Mr. Stephen Cole, please think before you speak!" Chasina Shouted suddenly.
Stephen is stunned for a second but quickly snapped out. He knew he said the wrong word in the wrong situation. Chasina hates the word death coming out of the people who are of her dead parent's age. Once upon a time, she didn't talk to him for a week.
He kept his silence. "I'm sorry, this won't happen next time," he said.
"How dare you to think of next time! If I hear it I will kill you at that very second by myself!" Chasina said.
"Fine, I won't tell. What should I do to dissipate your anger? " he said.
"Well, stay in our place to have dinner with us tonight. Also, buy me a big meal tomorrow. Hehe," she said.
"Hey, hey, it's clearly taking advantage of me. I'm a poor person. I have two unmarried sons who should get married. If I feed you I will be on roads. Apart from it, I will buy you anything. I will buy jewelry, clothes, and jade anything but not food." He said in his panicked voice.
"Hen! How dare you call me a glutton. I just enjoy the feeling of having food and the sensation of hitting my taste buds. You people don't know the 'ART OF EATING'. I pity you. At this age you should learn how to eat and enjoy the food. And you are buying me food. That's final!" She said.
"No!" He said as he stepped on the breaks.
"We arrived," he said.
"Yes, you are buying food!"
"No!"
" yes!"
"No!"
" yes!"
Suddenly a small figure rushed forward and throwing itself into Chasina arms. With a big smile, she forgot fighting with 'Hen'.
