The fight between the five invaders and Shiba's group was still ongoing after a few days.
Shiba and Gerken discovered that the five survivors of their sneak attack were all invaders, while only three of those they killed were traitors.
The invaders didn't care too much about the death of the traitors, but they were angry that two of their companions were killed. That was highly hypocritical since they had killed millions of people before Alrein returned and scared them.
Of course, most of these millions of people were so weak that they died instantaneously. They wanted to kill everyone regardless of the strength.
They killed a few Origin Gods when fighting on a bigger group, but they always played it safe. They never fought someone that could kill them easily if they lowered their guard until they decided to mess with Shiba and Gerken.
Although they were only World Gods, the invaders considered them more dangerous than Origin Gods.
