Alrein was quite surprised when he reached the place where Liye's group was resting.
The four of them were also surprised to see Alrein. They all were connected to him since the three of them had pieces of his legacy while Kanai was his direct disciple.
In fact, just having pieces of his legacy made that they could be technically called Alrein's disciples. Anyway, he created the Origin Path, so anyone who practiced that Path or those derived from it counted as someone taught by Alrein himself.
Still, there was no way Alrein cared for those that just practiced a Path since it would include the whole universe. After all, all the Paths were derived or downgraded versions of the Origin Path.
