Shiba also thought that Lina wouldn't have any problems to deal with the other Essence God. She might need more time than with Shiba's help, but Shiba knew that Lina was incredibly strong.
Unless another Essence God appeared, she shouldn't face any problem, and Eini would be safe. It was already extreme bad luck that an additional Essence God appeared, so Shiba didn't believe it could happen again.

Shiba stopped thinking about Lina and Eini and focused on the Essence God in front of him.
He could feel that the man in front of him was crazy and a real danger for a lot of people. Although Shiba wouldn't reach Gerken's extremes to pursue and kill traitors for the sake of everyone, he wasn't the type of person that would ignore them if they were in front of him.
Moreover, although it had been inside the Absolute Protection, the Essence God killed Eini, so there was no way Shiba would let him flee.
