The formations of the academy helped those inside enough to let most of them die while leaving a corpse behind, but almost everyone who had been outside died without leaving a corpse behind.
After leaving that area, they stopped for a bit to look at the Forest of Illusions.
There were two forests, the ordinary one for those at Rank 2 and ahead and the Forest of Illusion for those weaker.
However, Shiba and Eini were already strong enough to be able to see both forests at the same time.
Eini and Shiba didn't meet inside the Forest of Illusions, but that was the place where Shiba met Gregor.
