A physique inspector walking on the pathway of the hotel. Another bank heist using a credit card scheme for a month. An informant told him that the culprit was staying at the hotel living in luxury.
His mind is full of questions regarding the culprit. It's been a year since he was given the task to catch the culprit behind the bank heist that is happening all over the country. He has all the evidence, but the thing that he lacks is the culprit himself.
Since he was busy thinking about the culprit, he bumped into one of the chambermaids of the hotel. The maid stumbles and sat on the floor. He hastily approaches and offers his hand.
"I'm sorry, my mind is full and having a lot of thoughts," he said.
The maid grabbed his arm and vow her head. "Excuse me."
He lifts the maid and vows his head as a sign of apology. He continues walking while the maid smirked and moved toward a different direction. The man saw an entire team of a policeman at the end of the pathway.
He hastily approaches the policeman. "Where is the culprit?"
"We found nothing," one of the police replied.
His teeth are grinning while another beefy man inspector approaches him. "How long are you gonna make fun of the whole department?"
Napa-iling na lang siya sa sitwasyon na kinasadlakan. Hindi niya akalain na makakatakas na naman ang tao na hinahanap.
"I am sorry," he said.
The beefy man leaved the suspected hide-out of the culprit. Disappointed, he still can't find a way to catch the culprit that has been suspected for many crimes. The police on the room started to leave one after another.
Pumasok siya sa loob ng kwarto at tinignang ang kabuoan nito. Umupo siya sa gilid ng king size bed. Pansin niya na malinis ang kwarto at malabo na naging hide-out. He heaved a sighed after realizing that he become the complete dumb to his colleague.
His cellphone vibrated so he took it inside of the side pocket of his pants. He saw an unknown number calling him. He slid his finger on the screen before putting it beside his left ear.
"Who is this?" He asked.
"Is this Tiborsyo Syato?"
His forehead furrowed after hearing a woman voice on the other line. "Speaking, how may I help you?"
"If you are still in the room, I leaved a note under the bed."
His eyes widened in shocked after realizing that the person whose on the other line might be the culprit. He don't want to mess up again so he went to ground to see the note under the bed. Dahan-dahan niya ipinasok ang kamay sa ilalim ng kama.
Kinapa niya ang kahoy na nasa ilalim kaya naramdaman ang isang sticky note na nakadikit sa gilid. Tinanggal niya ito saka tinignang ang papel. Kumunot ang noo niya sa sulat na nakalagay sa papel.
"You can't catch me."
Nilukot niya ang papel at ibinato sa lapag kasabay ang pagtawa ng babae sa kabilang linya.
"You've been messing with me for the whole year!" He roared.
The woman averted the phone to hear and continue laughing. She's looking the identification card of Tiborsyo in her hand.
"Good luck," she said, put the identification card on the tin trash can, "I also have your ID, you can get it here at the alley outside of hotel."
Kinapa ni Tiborsyo ang bulsa niya kaya naramdaman na wala ang wallet. His teeth are grinning and clench his fist after realizing that he bumped into a woman before getting to the room. He hastily move outside to get to the alley.
Upon entering the alley, Tiborsyo saw one of the uniform of the chambermaid beneath the tin trash can. He approach it and saw his wallet along with his police identification card. Inikot niya ang paningin para tignan kung mayroon tao sa paligid pero wala siyang nakita.
