The ice shard spun like a drill as its speed increased as it moved closer to the zombie.
*Dong
The sound of something heavy impacting on something reverberated in the petrol pump as the ice shard drilled onto the black wall in front of the zombie. It looked as if the drill was about to tear through the wall when all the smoke in the surrounding including the one holding the bus mid-air congealed on to one point at the tip of the drill shaped shard stopping its momentum.
Arya huffed as she put her all into willing the drill to move faster but it seemed as if it had come to an equilibrium with the black smoke and it could not penetrate any further.
Just as Arya was thinking what else she could do to kill the zombie.
*Vroom a sound akin to a primal beast roaring echoed and a humongous body flashed across and smashed into the zombie taking it unaware and smashing its body away causing it to roll on the floor unmoving.
As soon as Harry had felt that the black smoke had moved away from the bus he had silently turned on the engine waiting for an opportunity to smash the zombie with the bus. When he saw the stalemate between Arya and the zombie he unhesitantly floored the accelerator and smashed right into the zombie.
Seeing the zombie was motionless Arya still conjured an ice shard and pierced its head to make sure it was dead. This zombie had given them quite a trauma so making sure it was dead was a given.
"Awesome Job" Arya gave harry a thumbs up with a smile on her face. His quick thinking had saved them from being zombie food.
"Not comparable to you little Snow Queen" Harry teased as he remembered the scene of her covered in a mini blizzard of her own.
Arya's lips twitched as she held back all the curses she thought of hurling at him for calling her that.
"Snow Queen?" Jason asked as he woke up groggily rubbing his eyes.
"I feel so refreshed as if I had the best sleep of my life" Jason murmured as he stretched out.
As he gazed at Harry he could see an almost grieved look on his face.
"What happened bro," Jason asked innocently.
How could he know what was on both his friends' minds? All they thought was ' we were having the fight for our lives and here you are saying you had the best sleep of your life. Can't you see the exhausted and terrified looks on our faces, Can't you be more considerate!"
"Nothing, it's just that we almost became zombie food" Harry spoke with a bland look on his face.
"What just happened here" Jason turned towards to look at Arya
"You woke up," Jason said as he glanced at her.
"Looking good" Jason casually remarked her causing her to blush and unable to speak, it was fascinating that a simple casual remark could do this to her even after her transformation, love was indeed a mystifying feeling that prevailed above all other feelings.
Harry turned to Jason and then with a sigh he explained all that had happened causing Jason's eyebrows to be raised in an exaggerated amazed expression.
"All of this really happened, I thought we had time before zombies start mutating," Jason said with a complicated look on his face.
"Let's go check the body," Jason said as he moved towards the door of the bus but as soon as he put his foot down into a stepping motion the world seemed to blur around him and * Baam He smashed right into the door.
"Wtf just happened," Harry and Jason said at the same time.
What harry saw from his perspective was that just as soon as Jason took the first step he turned into a burr and them next he saw him appear next to the door with a loud banging sound and it looked as if he had smashed headfirst into the door causing a dent on it as he collapsed on to the floor with a pained look on his face.
"I should learn to control my powers," Jason said sheepishly as he rubbed his forehead which had crashed onto the door. If he had smashed his head onto the door before Gaining his abilities his head would crack open and he would bleed profusely but now it just gave him a minor headache. He did feel different as if something had changed about him but he could not pinpoint it.
He thought of checking his stats window and what he saw shocked him.
