The other two ranked up a lot as well. With their new blessings from the Goddess their stats had really started to show improvement. Sierra had amazing growth, as her constant use of fireballs had raised her [Fire Starter] trait up to level 10. She was so excited she purchased the rest of the spells she could hold on the spot. She only needed to create her own to level up to wizard and become the [Scion of Fire]

[Fire Body] (Passive)
A passive spell that is always active (enchantment). The caster becomes highly attuned with fire. Increasing their damage with and resistance to fire. The User also gains a weakness to Water type spells. Water type spells do 1.5 times damage. Damage with fire spells increased by 50%. Resistance to fire type spells increases by 20%
[Resist Elements (Fire)] (Passive)
The caster becomes more resistant to fire. Reducing damage taken from fire by 50%
[Summon lesser Elemental (Fire)] (Evolvable)
Summons a lesser Elemental being as a familiar. The creature will have 1/4 your hp and mp, and will take one of your offensive spells, making it no longer available to you. The creature will get the benefit of all your talents, spells, and abilities, but not equipment. (Hell, Hound Familiar) spell taken (Fire Cloud)
[Fire breath]
The caster breathes out a cone of fire, doing their intellect damage to all creatures in its path. (In this case your familiar uses your intellect)
She had become a beast as well. As soon as she purchased the spell [Summon Lesser Elemental(fire)] her familiar appeared. As a lesser elemental it was born as a young form. This meant that the hell hound puppy was summoned. It was honestly adorable. It had jet black fur, and its eyes were a fiery red. Small flames could be seen coming out of its mouth.
Sierra quickly went into action to put out the small fire the puppy had started on her chest. Suddenly the puppy became much less cute. Leisha on the other hand fell in love at first sight. The puppy seemed rather nervous around her, yelping as it hid behind Sierra.
Sierra's growth was insane as well, but she did not spend any of her coins, rather she had decided to keep them for now.

With all our new abilities we felt we were ready for what was to come and would only passively wait. We spent our free time cultivating and enjoying each other's company. For two hours each day I gave Hylia all my attention. We secluded ourselves in our room.
All our activities were not dirty, however. As I have said before Hylia is a girly girl. She longed to be pampered, and with the Public baths closed to best we could get was a warm soak in the bath.
She especially liked it when I washed her back and hair. It was relaxing, and even if it was only for an hour at a time, I genuinely enjoyed the time I got with my wife. This is not to say we did not spend time together when she was a spider... It was simply different.
I had also purchased a small business type building in town near The War Goddess's temple. This would be the headquarters of the Morningstar Shadow Corps, and where the members would bunk.
The puppy of course was bringing chaos everywhere he went. But this was to be expected. Thankfully as an elemental he did not have to go to the bathroom, because I was seriously afraid of the accidents he would leave around the house.
During this time, I had managed to bring my core up to level 4. This increased the effectiveness from a x3 to a x4. From here on I think this would be my main source of improvement, as only my bone sword increased in damage with my stats. I also noticed it got a lot more difficult to level the higher level I got.
I would only be able to advance in my Spellcasting when my core reached level 10 and it evolved. I would also need to learn more spells and create my own, just like Sierra.
Sierra had also realized she had this limitation and spent what free time she could in meditation. She was barely able to level up her core to rank 3 when we finally got the notification.
Our peaceful days had ended. It was finally time for the battle. The Bug god had made his move.
The move was not as simple as we had expected. Before the Velocinids, Rosethorns and corrupted dryads showed up we were attacked from inside.
The guild had some everything they could to prevent this, but their efforts were in vain. The abilities of mortals could never be on par with that of the divine. And only the divine can truly counter another Divine.
