Rai Shen carries Little Shinah towards her room, chatting happily about snacks he's promised to get her on his next trip to the Capital.
They arrive at her room and intense waves of spirit energy from battle interrupted their conversation.
"Shinah...Want to see me make your third brother cry?" The edge of his lips turned up in a sly smile.
"Mm." I give a slight nod. That's my room being destroyed!
When he draws his sword, my eyes widen.
Woah.. House of Rai's ...Thousand Blade Scimitar!
A dark black curved Scimitar sword with a shadow of red in the middle of the blade came into view.
The Thousand Blade Scimitar is a family heirloom passed down to first borns of royal decent despite gender, after passing several trials those worthy get the chance to be chosen by the Ancient Artifact. It aids cultivation and duel blades unlock level by level with growing power however it's first layers potential can only be activated after reaching Monarch level in spirit energy.
Shen ignites his fire spirit energy into the sword changing the blade from the guard to the tip, four layers pass striping the black blade before turning crimson. The change is quick and I feel the sword radiating intense heat waves, I shrink closer into my brothers arms.
I had no idea Shen was this powerful to wield it at such a young age.
But isn't this a little overkill Shen?
He grabs the hilt and flings the sword like a dart into my room, a fire-shadow of the sword materialized in his hand making copy of Thousand Blade Scimitar. He flicks his wrist about seven times nailing my Third brother directly to the wall.
Kiyoshi: "What the shit ...Shen? You Bastard! Mom said no using Ancient Artifacts in the house! Akuma..brother help me down"
Akuma: "First Brother hows Shinah feeling, Mother said she didn't get checked by the doctor yet shall I go call an Imperial Physician?"
Kiyoshi: "Wait!! First get these Damn swords off me their burning my robes!"
Shen: "She's fine I checked her, still no traces of poison in her system. Why is Kiyoshi fighting with you in Little Shin's room?"
Kiyoshi: "Hell-freakin-low.. remember me just hanging here. Ouch.. Akuma help me. Hey~yyy my robes are melting right off me! You two can't bare the weight of the consequences for the loss of my chastity.... Get me down, get me down. Damn-it Shen!! Even in this helpless state; I'll be sure to go down with dignity ...with it unyielding in hardness!" -glares with resentment and a tinge of madness at both brothers-
Akuma: "Ahh that's good I was so worried. Little Shinah you tell big brother if you feel any discomfort right away and I'll get the doctor okay. Take it easy and don't over work yourself."-rubs Shinahs head and passes a peach over to Shen- "Well I found Little Shin's treasure and Kiyoshi that glutton wanted to snatch it for himself —"
My PEACH!! I eyeball it intensely looking for signs of damage from war. Akuma did well! It looks like there's no bite marks..
I smile brightly, pardoning him from the.. danger zone that's my room.
Kiyoshi: "First Brother- Akuma's lying! I'm not a glutton, I'm a connoisseur!! And that peach is filled to the brim with spirit energy." He manages to rip his burnt sleeve off a sword freeing one of his arms. He hits his chest proudly. "What a waste didn't draw a drop of blood." He flicks our family crest stamped at the hilt of the sword.
Shen: "I'll try harder next time, clean this up." He placed the peach in my hands before walking out with Akuma following.
I look over Shens shoulder and stick my tongue out at Kiyoshi.
Despite Akuma and Kiyoshi being identical twins, their biggest distinction is their personalities and opposing spirit element. Akuma is older by a few minutes but has a gentle smile and easy going-trusting personality, a lot like water he tends to go with the flow.
Unlike Kiyoshi's fire spirit always fighting against the current. He's mischievous and temperamental; it's either a hit or miss when it comes to trusting others.
They are both turning fifteen this summer, normally they attend school on off seasons but rushed home after getting news of my 'poisoning'.
