Chapter 7 "Animated Corpse"
Gone be the ladies arduous night brimming of heartfelt sorrows, days go by like a whisper in the wind, Masha and the young girls became even closer than ever.
Enjoying life to its fullest as they push each other to the limits making them mature faster, Learning more about this world they live in called Lucrezia together.
Even Masha joined in with their schooling sessions, surprisingly, though she did learn about it already during her past life.
Yet obliged doing it anyways for nobody ever stops growing up, not even she, and it was also because she wanted to spend more time with them.
This little study time of there's lasted for a long while, weeks past, yet as they continue to monkey around Masha didn't stop working on herself during that time, the young girl begins to take action by exercising her body.
***
Warm autumn dew droplets trickle from the vast proliferation of plant life trapped within paved heights, it surrounds the magnificent plateau that coexists with intelligible species that have long built their territory over time.
And on that oval-shaped ground base, a small looking petite figure can be seen encircling inside its wooden walls, breathing heavily while she ran.
This little person is Masha, determination flickers on her eyes whenever she would slow her movement down, causing the former to continue forward instead of halting the abrupt fatigue coursing through her body.
It took her five laps going around the two kilometre radius, fortress like villages wooden walls before she finally tires herself out, yet before her feminine body will give in to exhaustion, the girl then would always start to walk instead for a short rest, which she would run once again afterward.
Gasping for air, Masha couldn't help but think that her prowess currently isn't enough, she ponders over what went wrong in her training as the former would always be able to run a little more, but in reality she never had accounted her age when doing fitness activities.
'Why is it so hard for me to exercise a lot, man-boys have it easy on them with their excess strength and manpower stored up in their muscles'. Masha thought implying the advantages of men in terms of physical strength.
'Well, at least they take on roles that will put them in hard positions in turn for their blood kins safety, coupled with the fact men are less emotional and more logical than us, maybe ugh that damn church. . . . biology can be a headache some times'. She stated implying the importance of both genetic sexes' roles in forming a stable society.
Not that she disagrees, but with what Masha learns during her studies from the holy orders clergies this was the most natural case. It just that she couldn't help but want to rant at them as well for their betrayal in her past life.
'Tsk, that reminds me not to trust those from the holy hierarchy, good thing the holy order was given to better leadership after what the Deags pulled off during the Unholy wars to come, sacrificing the people to those beasts . . . what where they thinking? that they could appease them with reason? I don't think so'.
As she walks on the paved pathway bordered by walls of wood and stone, a familiar sound of lightning that only she recognizes strikes down outside nearby her settlement.
'No way did I hear that wrong? Was that a summing bolt . . . . . . this early?'. Masha's heart palpitates heavily from the thought of it, that sinking feeling of doom and helplessness contorts in her expressions, making her heart go weary from the ensuing madness that is to come.
Masha rushes towards the place where she heard that evil summoning came to be, her body shows no signs of that fatigue from earlier before.
Her form passes through the eastern gates with quick steps, which ultimately confuses the guards standing by as they talk about the weird sound of lightning that reverberated before them.
They thought she was just doing an errand, and since it is relatively safe outside of the plateau anyways they let her through without paying any more attention to her as the two continue to rabble about the news.
'Did ya hear that mate, the crowned king is sickly and unfit to lead anymore' a guard wearing spiked mithril green armor and silver chainmail told to the guard standing right by him.
'Yes Mikael, I heard that the crown prince is going to be taking his position very early on by the ruling of the clergy, hopefully, he is not going to be slacking off like the former king'. the other guard who held a pitchfork with a gladiator helmet replied, which makes the other clarify that his words are true.
When Masha hears what they said as she exits frowns for a little bit. But realizes that there is nothing she could do about it and continues to head towards the summons direction as her focus is purely on the village's safety.
Breaking through the outlandish wild weald being overshadowed by a large plateau, Masha starts to find the supposed summon through her senses of smell, trying to find the summoned creature immediately while she cursed.
'Prick if I don't find that thing now! who knows what would happen to -' before she could even continue ranting the smell of rotten flesh permeates her nose.
The sent was strong, it makes Masha stop on her tracks while she begins to rack her brain over the events that will soon happen, her thoughts were once again interrupted.
"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa"
When she hears that scream, her heart sank, for Masha recognizes that girlish bellow, and because of that, the girl rushes forwards to the direction on where it originated from.
Adrenaline kicks in forcing her body to go beyond its limits as all forms of imaginary thoughts ran inside Masha's mind, regal energies start to shift around her and channel itself on her legs, speeding up the young girl even more so.
Because of all that raging hormones, she was able to shrug off most of the greenery on her way without batting an eyelid.
The moment she arrives, a horrific scene was set upon her, it was the sight of seeing Siera cornered to a tree, struggling to back off from an Animated Corpse that was trying to snag and bite, this made Masha's protective nature scream in chaos.
Electricity courses through Masha's body as she charges forward quickly to destroy that vile thing, a deep rage bellowed within her, burning forth to prosper against all odds as her arms will's itself automatically while her eyes turned crimson red.
Fists tightly clasped together ready to brutalize her foes, while regal power channels itself on her hands with the notion to save her best friend.
Bringing her wrath forth, Masha's heavily enchanted knuckles meet the monster's bloody face, causing the thing's body to ricochet a few feet away from Siera upon impact, while its skull is nearly crushed into a pulp by her fists.
It sprawls on the ground heavily with a loud crash as the dirt was unearthed by the brunt of Masha's attack factored by the ghouls positioning.
Everything became silent for a while, till the things groans were heard by the duo, it stood up once again albeit very quickly, but this time with the notion to confront the one who struck a heavy blow on it, Jaw unhinged and seemingly angry the undead lumbers forward to Masha trying to both scare and murder her.
Yet there was no fear on her eyes, only violence, a rage more potent than anything in this world, that even the abominations feared it, as she cracks her knuckles with the notion to destroy.
Regal energy accumulates inside her in unimaginable speeds once more which only fuels her fury even further making her thoughts go awry in eternal spite for the monster.
That fury called unto her as if sentient in form, telling her three words all to familiar to her that she needed to hear before the monster lunges forth.
Three words . . . . . that resonated together with her soul, understanding her plight.
Only three words.

As Masha hears her calling, she immediately burst towards the animated corpse in the speed of light, grabbing the monster's only pair of abled arms and kicks its chests with greater regal power, ripping and tearing the undead man's body apart with pure strength alone.
