but, when he deemed. his choice was wrong from the beginning. it is impossible for Lisa to win against her. he changed his side. now,. no one was there to stand by her side to support and more worsen thing is that she was still unable to understand rule of this game. mostly time, she was lossing pawn without knowing it.
meanwhile,of this game, Lisa's phone buzzed. she swooped to look who would it be. she looked at call. and took her excuse.
Lisa said with exasperated sigh. "what's up? whatever you have to say, hurry up. I am busy right now in the middle of my life and death. I am not in mood to talk anyone else."
" what happened to you, ma'am?" she asked swiftly in worry tone to another side of call.
when, she noticed. what she called just now with an unfamiliar person.
she amended and said sheepishly. " nothing,... I was oblivious. actually, I am lossing in chess. so, I just said it recklessly. don't mind it."
she added quickly. " well, I don't know who you are? and why did you call me?"
she said with keen voice . " I am Stacy, secretary of Mr. Bright." she paused and said. " right now, he is with me."
"he said me to call you that he wil not go back home, to night."
she said crudely without getting distracted." okay, I understand. I won't disturb both of you. I will manage here. he is free to go with anyone else. "
she was aghasted after hearing her reply. she asked." ma'am don't you afraid that your husband would be snatched by another woman."
Lisa said quickly. " nope, I don't care. I am not bluestocking." she paused and mulls something. " in fact, I don't want to take a tag of villain wife."
Stacy wanted to say something. but she hung up the call by saying that "I am hanging up. I have to go now."
then, she turned to Bright. he was sitting on chair in his office on dim light. he looked at her with pierceing eye and asked. " what did she say?"
she paused. and then she said after few minutes." I think your wife is totally weird. she care about chass more than you."
she said continue. " I have to tell you honestly that ever since, I came here. I was always careful not to let any girl get around you. that way I would have a chance. but, that chance has been taken by her." she smiled a little bit. " " but, right now, I should say. sir, that you have become most pitiful husband."
he said angrily. " get lost from here."
she takes her leave quickly. and the door swung close behind her.
he turned off the source of dim light. and leaned his head on the chair and started swinging. there was only his silhouette was visible in this dark place.
as Lisa hung up the phone and turned to see them. she finds her mother in law was starring chess board for making new tactics to win against her. and Mason, he was also gloating at chess board. surely, he did not know how to play as Lisa. Lisa came hurriedly to take her position.
she asked. " who was it that took you long time?" she said with smug tone. "if not this call, I would have been won against you early."
Lisa said. " oh, it was about Bright. he said that he will not come back home to night. he is very busy to his work."
" what's more important than you. back then, he always used to skip to work. you are newly wed couple. he must have to come back. I am calling him. " and she started to call her.
Lisa said swiftly. and halted her. "no aunt, I know him. he just wanted to be responsible man at all. right now, he is enjoying his work."
"I think we should give him some space to improve his image right."
she changed her mind and it was relief for Lisa. she exhaled a deep breath.
