*Bloop!* A blood ball formed in front of the two. The mixing of their blood earlier was activating. the game gave background cooldown for certain things. A lot of events would happen in a safe zone or when A User went to sleep.
"A Blood Pact." Noin said. It was mostly for Vladis to help cover him to Rosso. "You are both vampires, it is a way to link you two. A partnership of sorts. One thing it can do, is allow you to share something, whether it is a skill or a title. It can grow in strength the more you trust each other. A good way to know if you lie to each other as well."
(Do you wish to enter into a Blood Pact?)
"Hmm..." Vladis was more knowledgable of Soul Pact's, not Blood Pacts. The basics were understood but not the long term. He doubted Noin would tell him more. Or Rosso for that matter. "Haaa I am for it." Rosso cocked an eyebrow at him. "You already know a lot about me thanks to your coworker, I also need some friends. So we have that. Bloody Body, I am willing to share."
"Ok. I have something to help in the long term. Light Body for when and if we go the Villain route with our Transformation." Vladis gave her a raised eyebrow this time. Rosso waved it off not wanting to get into trouble by blabbing. "Nothing. But it will help you I guarantee."
(Blood Pact entered. Bloody Body shared. Light Body acquired)
(Due to expertise, No loss in Rank.)
(Light Body raised to Gathering Rank II due to User's understanding)
"I got it at Rank II. Nice." Looking at her face, Vladis felt it was a little awkward. "What is it?"
"I have Bloody Body at Gathering Rank VII! How!?" Rosso kept looking at the screen. "I also received Axe Understanding, Gathering Rank I."
"Oh, the Training Badge!" Vladis said remembering. The bot had earned it and he had it equipped already. "I received a Reputation increase with the Training area so that is nice. Most likely it is the reason you received it so high." He was partially right. The other was from the Blood Pact and the two having fought. "You received one more than me. Which is not that bad since well.. It does not bother me."
"You are higher than her as a Vampire. That is also why." Noin said. She fluttered between the two before floating back into Vladis's hair. "We should get back out and do some more fighting."
"Yeah. With everything that has happened, I believe our reputations are high enough for us to go into the secret facility." Rosso said. Her smirk was something to behold. The look of a Role Playing Gamer apparent. She was here for the adventure and fun. That is what Vladis thought anyway. "Here!" She shared a quest with Vladis.
Secret Quest: Backing of the Training Facilities. Rosso has discovered the training facility in your location needs representatives. Raise your reputation and start the trials. Rewards go to Rosso. Secondary rewards go to you.
"It will be worth it. I promise!"
"Sure. But you have to help do the Night Watch Quest final parts with me. I have the feeling it will be a long one." Vladis agreed easily enough. He never did the quest before and liked the sound of it. "I need to get a weapon first. My mana is to low the way I fight."
"Use the training one."
"Huh?"
"The training weapon can be used in the facility. The quest is in the facility. Considering how they repair themselves, totally worth it." Rosso said helpfully. Vladis was like most Users. He came in, did the training and did the quests. The extra things were not done mostly due to the crowding the place had.
"Right. Oh let me purchase a Primary Cultivation from the Fairy shop. I can not wait anymore really." Opening it up in the tab, Vladis froze. 'It is here!' In the shop was his primary manual in his last life until he was forced into becoming a Villain.
"You are going Hero or Villain?" Rosso asked in interest. Something about him made her ask to make sure they didn't have problems in the future.
"Hero just to have an easier time. The route of the Villain sounds awful." Vladis answered sheepishly. Memories coming to the front about how shitty it was to be forced into a Villain. Rosso gave him a weird look before deciding something. She gave a nod and a gold ring appeared on her finger. 'Oh, she bought something from the shop. I wonder what it is?'
Rosso did have privilege's from being a worker. But the bigger the boon the bigger the restrictions as well. Her reputation was maxed out with fairies as well as negatively with gremlins.
Vladis clicked on the Manual: Light of Reckoning. Slowly the knowledge poured into his head as his mana stones depleted to 0. In the beginner funds.
(Light of Reckoning Gathering Rank XII due to mental understanding.)
(Essences gathered, Fairy Ring full. Would you like to consume?)
Vladis chose yes and felt his body tingle.
(Spells have increased. Telepathy III, Telekinesis III)
(New passive spells acquired Light Screen XII, Bloodlust XII)
Light Screen: Creates and Bends light to hide small objects.
Bloodlust: Users emotions are always added to the damage.
'A little more and a lot of stuff will flood in. Especially once I get some levels. The Pillar Rank for my techniques will give me a lot of power.' Vladis was getting excited. Several thoughts on how the race and class would unfold in the future. 'But held back currently by my level, unless I force it. Which would really be bad in the long run.'
He didn't overly think about why it only went so far. Mostly likely Noin to prevent any issues from developing. Or possibly a Glitch taking place.
"You ready?" Rosso asked. She noticed Vladis did a lot of thinking and rather wait a bit before interrupting.
"Lead the way." Vladis motion and the two stepped out. Mason and a few other Trainers waiting for them to come out. Vladis would swear on it that he saw their eyes twinkling like kids on Summer Break. "Hi.."
"He has agreed to help me. When will everything start?" Rosso asked.
"A few hours once we make some adjustments. You two are more experienced than the usual people that take the trial." Mason stated. Rosso was unbothered but Vladis had a frown on his face. "Come back in a few hours. Since we changed it, big reward. If you survive anyway."
"Ok. We have a few things we need to take care of anyway." Rosso led the way out. Not wanting to waste any more time. Once outside she turned to Vladis to see what he would say. "Take it you do not like the adjustment to the difficulty?"
"You are correct. To purposely make it harder based off our skill... is shitty. But it is your Quest and I already said I would help you." Vladis was walking towards the Wanderer Guild. He was taking a different route than last time. As well as traveling down the alleyways. "Since we are waiting on your Quest right now, I am going to finish up a few of my own. Feel free to join me."
"Sounds good." Rosso had her hands behind her head as she walked. One thing Vladis noticed, was the hairpin that she had her hand on.
'A weapon as well as an accessory. She is good to have gotten that already.' Vladis thought. He could feel Noin move around in his hair. She popped out before ducking back in.
"Are you enjoying the ga.. I mean. How do you like the place?" Rosso blinked at Noin before asking Vladis something that bugged her. 'The Fairy is still with him, how interesting. I wonder if she bonded with him. Then again, none of my business. As long as no flags pop up, everything is ok.'
Vladis stopped and marked a few locations on his map. Rosso just grinned when he picked up the discarded bottles and papers with his telekinesis. Coming across the Nightwatchmen, Vladis deposited the trash in the barrel next to them and took the package they had sitting to the side.
"Thanks. See you each in a bit." Vladis gave them a smile and received a nod in return. "I like the place so far. A little weird but fun enough. I can tell you are enjoying yourself from the shit-eating grin you have. But you are a "Hard Quester" aren't you?"
Vladis was incorrect on his first assessment of her. A Hard Quester were those thrill-seekers. Only doing one's that were dangerous and caused their adrenaline to pump. Vladis was not one of those. He did Quest that fit the role he was trying. As well as those that interests him greatly.
Vladis swept all the trash as far as he could reach. It was all pulled toward the nearest trash barrel. A small dagger was found. Not equipping it was fine, he would just throw it first chance he got anyway at something.
The two stopped at one of the Bakeries. Passing over the envelope, they waited a few minutes for the order to get done. The Package was to be delivered to the Wanderer Guild.
(Trash clean up: 37 Pounds)
'Need to clean up a hell of a lot to get anything really good. But, at least it stretches to every place. I wonder if I can get a few other things different if I clean up the junkyard?' Vladis was pulled from his thoughts as he felt a change in the area. 'They are coming already. How nice.'
