Chapter 1 - chapter 1

A boy walks down the street of Vincent Massey Academy, for students who train to be, the new agents of the world. He takes a deep breath in and out, something that his Aunt taught him. He changes the music with his brand-new phone, the music blasts causing him to jump a little. A boy rushes from the distance, trying to catch up to him. The boy jumps on the air, putting his weight on the other boys' shoulders, scaring the boy.

"Sebastian! What the hell! You always do that!" The boy glares intensively at Sebastian, but looks away, he removes one of his air pods, left one. "Exactly! I mean, you just have to get used to it." The boy shrugs, causing his black backpack move a little. The wind moves the boys hair. Sebastian closes his eyes, letting the wind fresh him up. His dark curls move. He holds his backpack straps tightly. "So, are you done Mr. Salvatore booklet? It's pretty hard. It took me around ten minutes to do the first question. I just imagine, how much time it'll take me to do the next thirty questions." He chuckled nervously. He glances to the boy next to him.

"I finished already. I hand in the booklet already. I'm starting with my second one." He looks to Sebastian; he gives him a force smile. Sebastian looks away, mad at the fact he hasn't. "Whatever. It's not like I care or something. It doesn't even bother me. Not even one bit!" He crosses his arms angrily. The boy laughs quietly. "Don't worry. I'll give it to you, so you can copy." Sebastian looks back at him and smirks. "Heh. Thanks." Daniel smiles.

"You are so lucky, that you have been blessed with that head." He grabs the boy's head and messes up his light brown fluffy hair. The boy groans in frustration. Sebastian let's go off him. He fixes his hair. "Thanks, Sebastian. Really. I admire your stupidly." He narrows his eyes at him. Sebastian smiles widely at him, showing his white teeth. "You are so welcome, Daniel." He sees that Daniel is not Happy or amused. He frowns. "Five...Four…Three…Two." Sebastian smiles drops and begins to run. "One." Daniel chases him down. "I'm sorry!" Sebastian yells, he runs to the end of the street. "Sorry is not going to cut it!" Daniel yells back and runs after him.

Daniel walks to his house, out of breath as he chases down Sebastian. Sebastian pants and sweats unconditionally. He walks separate way of Daniel. As they say their Goodbyes. Daniel opens the gate of his house fence. He walks the rocky path; his gaze moves directly to his old red tricycle on the other side. He smiles at the fun memories he had. His gaze trails away, he grabs the small pot, he turns it around just to find the spare key. He knew his Dad wasn't home, he sighs. "Guess, I'll eat Mac and cheese again." He unlocks the door.

The cold wind rushes to his warm skin. Darkness was fill in his house. The dark aurora felt everywhere around the Maintenance. He sat down on the step of the one stair, he removes his black and white shoes. He places them nicely against the wall, as well his brown and blue backpack. A small table at the maintenance has a key holder, where Daniel put down his key. He saw Various photos of him when he was younger as well, of his Dad. He took a minute to look at all of them, but one particular caught his attention, he smiles at the photo.

He walks to the kitchen, where the only light that entered was the sun. He opens the fridge, to see if there was something to eat or, if his Dad left something prepared. But it was an empty fridge. He frowns at the thought, his Dad forgot about his existence. "Pfttt, who needs that old man?" He slams the fridge door, causing a piece of paper to fall down. Daniel crouches down, he picks up the piece of paper written in his Dad writing. He raises his brows in disbelief. "Guess, I have to do more walking." He places down the piece of paper on the counter and leaves. He takes back a seat at the step of the stair, he puts back his shoes. The sound of the phone ringing caught his attention, distracts his from what he was doing. He pulls out his phone from his pocket, at the screen he sees Sebastian name big in bold letters. He groans, he answers the phone with no motive or any joy. "Yeah?" he puts his phone on the left of his shoulder and place down his head on his shoulder. While putting his shoes. "Are you almost here? Mom is making dinner and Dad is going to pick you up. Be ready." Daniel hums in response. "Oh really? Well, tell Uncle Francisco, that I'll walk. It's not that far away from here to your house. "Are you crazy!" Daniel takes away his phone from his ear. Sebastian yells through the phone, causing Daniel to go deaf for a second. "No need to yell, you know."

Sebastian walks down the stairs. "You want to make my mom mad? Like, do you want to die? Or you having a death wish or something? Mom will literally kill my dad for not picking you up because you just felt like walking."

"Brother. Brother!" a little girl cries out loud. She runs to Sebastian. "What is it, Alina?" Sebastian kneels down. The little girl smiles to his older brother. She hides something behind her back. Sebastian's eyes trails off and sees her hands behind her back. "Look!" She pulls out a drawing of her family. "I made a drawing at home. Mommy, brought me today, some coloring pencils and I drew this!" Sebastian took the drawing away from her hands. He smiles at the messy drawing. He saw; his Dad, Mom, himself and herself. Beside his Dad, Uncle Nathaniel stood beside Daniel as well, A woman stood beside Daniel. Her long brunette hair and big brown eyes. He frowns at the woman's drawing.

"Fine then. Tell Uncle Francisco to pick me up. But if he's too late, I'll walk." Daniel stood up and grabs the house keys.

"Yeah. Yeah. I know. Talk to you later." Sebastian hangs up the phone. The drawing was full of color. But the woman attract his eyes. Sebastian kneels in front of his sister. He puts his phone in his back pocket. "Alina…who is this woman?" he asks. Aline smiles, her big bright brown eyes looks at his dark ones. "Well that's Auntie! She talks to me sometimes, whenever she's bored or alone. Or when she sees me alone." She puts her arms behind her back and moves back and forth impatient. "So, Aunt talks to you? About what?" he asks more intrigued. She took a seat at the stairs, her pink skirt Bright up from the dark wooden stairs. She taps her lap and smiles at her older brother. "Yep! She talks how much she misses Uncle Nathan, and also big brother Daniel." She giggles. He gives her back her drawing, she runs off making her small curls jump. She leaves Sebastian with questions and fear.

He walks to the living room; he spots his sister coloring on the coffee table. She smiles at the new drawing she's making. Sebastian stood by the doorframe. He watched carefully his sister, she looks up at him and smiles, she carries on drawing. Sebastian walks to the kitchen, were his mom is preparing dinner. He took a sit at the far end stool, he fiddles with his phone. His mom, busy preparing dinner. "Hey, mom, can I ask something?" his mom hums in response. "What happened to Uncle's wife?" his mom stops and turns back. "She umm," She clears her throat, and wipes her hand with a cloth. "Why are you asking me this question? You just umm, it's something you have never asked me before." She leans on the counter.

"Well, I've always been curious about Daniel's mom. You told me some bit stories about you, Dad, and Uncle Nathan, but rarely about Uncle's wife." She smiles at the thought of her. "Well, if you want to know about your Aunt. Help me put the plates on the table." She smirks, Sebastian groans but agrees. He jumps off the stool, his mom grabs some plates from the upper cupboard. She hands them to Sebastian. He heads off to the dining room, he places each plate on the plate mat. "Let's see, well Danielle. She was the brave one between the six of all of us. She would do anything for her comrades. I guess, that's one of the reasons she became Captain." Sebastian finishes placing the dishes, he walks back to the kitchen. He takes back a seat at the stool but his mom already prepared. She hands him some glass cups. "What do you mean, Captain? I know that Uncle Nathan is the current one and Dad is his assistant and also the proctor of the Exams to enter the Agency. But I didn't know she was the Captain back then." He stood up and walks back to the dining room.

"Well, back then, she was the captain of the agency, but also the captain of Team Nine. While your Uncle, Nathan was the Team Leader. We were a group of six, it was your Aunt's idea. We were in war, so we needed to be extra careful. Your Aunt Danielle was the medic of the team, your dad and also Uncle Nathan were the ones with the plan, it was your Aunt's duty to make sure everything was perfect. No mistakes could be bargain. A mistake could cost someone's life back then. I was a computer hacker just like your Uncle Nathan, he was actually the one who taught me everything I know about computers also software and many more. Then, there was your Aunt's younger brother, Javier. He was a very chill sixteen-year-old. Danielle wanted to have him close to her just in case something happens."

"Except, her death, right Mom?" he enters the kitchen and stood by the doorframe. She sighs and rubs her temples. "Listen, Sebastian, some time bad thing always happens. You just need to be careful and beware, of the dangerous things. Some thing your Aunt was always horrible at. Ever since the war began, her trust slowly began to vanish, soon, nothing was ever achieved. She only trusted a few people. Six people, was our group, two others more. Mason and Samuel. Your Uncle's older brother. Your Uncle's brother, he grouped us into three. I was with this girl name Melissa, she was always scared, so she bothered me with her "What ifs", then there was this friends of your dad and Uncle. He was a real Jerk." Her fist curls up and her greenish veins pops up. Sebastian retreats, he saw his mom real mad. Her ears red as blood. "He called me something very unpleasant. When I told your father, he wasn't that happy about it but oh, I sure have him a long speech. I even blocked him on Snapchat." She says angrily.

Sebastian turns his head to the side confused. "What's Snapchat?" he asks. His mom spaces out of the full range. "Huh? Oh, it was a texting, use for calling also FaceTime, you could take snaps also post on your story. All of the six of us had it. It was fun." She giggles. "So, it was like ITinderChat?" he asks. She nods. She puts on the oven gloves and opens the oven; the big wave of heat rises. "Mom, I got another question." His mom places down the chicken on the counter, she removes the gloves. "Sorry, honey. I can't say no more, if it's about Your Aunt Danielle. You see, Daniel is about to come with your Father. If he hears me talking about her, I'll be the one getting a speech this night. Then, Daniel would want to know. Then, I would probably get another speech from your Uncle. Just because they heard me. Another day?"

He frowns, but lets it go. "I was actually going to ask you, who taught you how to cook such delicious meals?" he leans over. His mom smiles. "It was actually your Aunt Danielle. Every plate of food, I have a made. Are hers. She was the one who learned them, she took her time to make those recipes, and gave them to me. I made a copy for your Uncle Nathan, but, it would be a rare thing finding him cooking." She chuckles, she cleans off her hands from her yellow apron. His gaze perks up and thought for a second. "So, wait. You just follow the recipe that's your Captain made for you because… you can't cook?" His mom's smiles drops down and glares at him for a second. "Go to your room." She prepare the salad. Sebastian laughs, he jumps off the stool. "Oh you know, I love your cooking mom. You know I love you." She smiles and the front door opens.

"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Alina squeals and runs off to the front door. She jumps to her Dad's arms. He hugs her and places kisses on her rosy cheeks. "Ahhh! Sweetie. How was your day?" he asks her. He place another kiss on her light skin. She pushes his face away. "Daddy! No! Your beard is itchy." She refuses his kiss. He laughs and puts her down carefully. Alina looks behind her dad. "Big Brother, Daniel. How was your day at school?" She asks in a very sweet voice. Daniel smiles at her. In his heart, he always wanted a little sibling, someone he could play with or maybe talk to. But, never got the chance to. He removes his shoes. "It was great, Lina. I mean, same classes and well your brother always a pain." The young girl giggles and nods.

"Big Brother, can sometimes be annoying but he liked my drawing. Wanna see it, Big Brother Daniel?" She tilts her head to the side, with big Bambi eyes. "Sure thing, Lina." He stood up, she grabs his hand and both runs off to the living room. Francisco hangs his light brown jacket, his gaze trails off to the photo.
