Yuhi scoffed at the words loyal. "You called inviting those men into our apartment while I was on my trip in star town loyal?"
"Oh please, you're the one who so much implied we were breaking up when you returned."
Indeed, he did say that. But, they were still technically in a relationship and the more time he spent with Tam. The more he thought, 'This kid's father will eventually return.' When that happens, Sumire will definitely return to him. If that happens, he stands no chance. It would be wrong of him to steal her away when she could finally have the family she has always wanted.
Yuhi recalled a conversation he had with Mamoru and sighs deeply. Toh really does know her well. Not too long ago Toh was having the same thoughts.
