Lillian knew that she had no other choice but to comply with the given order. If the gun was aimed at her, she might have made an attempt to run unscathed from there, but it wasn't her life who was at risk.
"Fine." She clenched her jaw tightly as she stared at the man with her rage filled eyes.
"I will do as you say, but don't hurt her." She added scornfully. She knew that there was no point in asking for his mercy, but she had to give a good shot for Clare's sake. She was also somewhat angry at herself for not seeing it coming.
"Throw your gun away." The man didn't bother to entertain her as he bent forward and pulled Clare out of her hiding spot while keeping the gun pointed at her head. His hawk-like eyes were set on Lillian to make sure she wouldn't try to act smart with him while he was busy pulling out the other girl.
