"What the fuck!" Blake could only curse under his breath as his eyes caught the shadow of something coming their way. It took him a good couple of seconds to figure out that it was a car.
If it wasn't for his sharp eyes, he might have utterly missed it and drove right into it because of the turned off headlights.
"Hold on to something." He yelled on top of his lungs as he turned the wheel to the other side to avoid the crash, but the speed of his car made it almost impossible for him to make a safe half turn safely.
The car went further straight ahead when he tried to turn it back to the left in order to avoid getting off the road itself. His one hand was resting on the emergency brakes already but he didn't pull it in time.
The road below the tires was only paved through the already existing mountain track. It would have ended up as a much bigger disaster than what was about to happen because of the car coming from the other direction.
