"Lilith, did you think you can step on our combined resolve so easily? [Super focus -infinite current] [flesh of gale inversion] [Rotation from beyond-mega gale piercing] " (Sakase)
Currents of wind that could easily cut steel like paper gathered around every inch of his body, transforming his body into a fortress of mobile destruction. The winds moved at speeds that added the Agility values of everyone in the surrounding radius, forming a seemingly infinite current that never stops unless willed by the user.
His dark blue hair fluttered in the current, threatening to be cut off, however his other skill [flesh of gale inversion] prevents that completely. A current of any form or element could never hope to even scratch his body. His right arm held a long spear seemingly made out of winds that glowed an ominous dark blue, so dark that it was nearly black and would seem black from a very far distance.
"We'll let her have it, then fight each other later, I guess. [Surpassing heat-deflection] [Hellfire constitution] [Multi-seal vacuum] [High heat groundshrink] " (Valern)
Needless to say, fire welled up to the ceiling consuming Valern's position. It grew so hot that it melted light away and had the appearance of an ominous black. Countless transparent barriers could be detected, they were otherwise hard to see through as their presence was natural and none magical. Layers of space had been burned up into nothingness to create vacuums, followed by solidified light, giving the appearance of a glass dome.
His movement speed had also increased to an absurd amount, his movement was practically 'instant' surpassing any and all opponent's in terms of Agility. The only drawback was that it only aided movement, and so his skills took a bit to catch up with his body, and so did his attacks. His attacks had to be manually carried out, consciously, so he could close the distance and still die if the opponent reacted to his movement faster than he did.
It was simply not the same as raising his Agility value, something akin to [teleport] but only for short distances. However such a drawback is trivially easy to mitigate. If he raised his strength and vitality stat and was able to penetrate defenses, he could just move his arm or limb into his opponent's body, impaling them with a near conceptual level of attack. He could always pull this off nonetheless, but if he didn't fulfill the following conditions, then his arm or weapon would get crushed by the opponent's hard flesh and end up restricting himself instead.
On the other hand, Lilith was not going to make it any easier for them. She had already achieved a wide power gap before, and some of that gap has been closed up, that was simply it. All she had to do was widen this gap once more.
Her will showed itself in her transmitted words, even capitalising on their own to express enthusiasm. Unlike the few years before, this time there was finally a lively glow in her irises. In the past year, she conducted a search to find herself, discover her own goals. And she had finally found something albeit minor to work hard for. Motivation was motivation, and so her strength had become world's apart.
To summarise her discovery, she had awaken to the joys of battle and finally became accustomed to it. Training in the dungeons daily, testing new tactics and techniques, finding ways to get stronger despite her level 1000 level cap. A measly pair of 12 year old can't get in her way now, whether they were level 600 monsters or not.
Pillars and walls of deep black rose from the ground, obscuring the view of everything in the colosseum. The only person who could see clearer than day here was Lilith, as anything seen by the walls, can be seen by her. Where are the walls' eyes? You may ask. They were simply, everywhere. The coincidence between the walls being black and the irises of most people being black was not coincidence at all. The true nature of [Demonic energy] was dark purple after all.
With a skill to hide herself, she had also used a skill to spring forth countless decoys. Tier-6,a tier that surpassed the usual limits and had the ability to trick the system, she had awakened to it in her fight with the angel of death, Gefald. Inserting [Demonic energy], an SS-tier skill(unknown at that time), she was able to temporarily lift its limits until she attained [Famine] which was able to interfere with the system and made it a permanent asset.
[Famine] was originally only used to edit the Vitality stat of opponents to 0 in order to kill them, however further exploring showed that it could make temporary skills permanent (by a fluke) and create an undetectable communication system. Statuses could be manipulated from a distance, as long as you know where the person is, it would be possible. However if the opponent hid themselves, it would not work.
With that, [Illusion-tier 6] was easily able to make images that seemed exactly the same as the real thing, even being able to replicate behaviour, movement and communication. They could attack as well, however those attacks would have no effect as illusions and render them exposed. Valern and Sakase made a deadly combo, however combining this labyrinth and the concealment of her own location while spreading decoys, they were utterly at a disadvantage.
Noticing their barriers and attacks could easily destroy the walls, they walk through in search of Lilith's new location. As they had decent mastery over mana control, Lilith doubt that blowing away the mana would do much to their defenses. So she had to penetrate them somehow. The walls were actually quite weak compared to her armour that was condensed to the maximum, so if she simply condense them hard enough, she could make a weapon that slices through Valern's defense.
Without a second thought, she coordinated an attack with the other illusions. Around 10 Lilith's rush at the pair at once, with what seemed to be a spear made of [Demonic energy], strong enough that they radiated out a black aura that seemed to be able to melt steel, akin to Valern's defenses. Seeing through the plan, Sakase pushed Valern over, causing him to reflexively run away with a ground shrink. Sakase had a... Strange defense that was basically unpenetrable, so he could tell Valern was the target. An added hint was the aura of the spear being similar to Valern's, leading him to think that she was using a similar property to pierce through Valern's defenses.
With Valern moving to safety with his skill, a long black object impaled Valern's heart. Blood gushed out of his throat and dripped down his lips. The spear was impaling him through the back. Turning his head around with the spear still inside him, she had let go of the spear, allowing him to turn his body. Her armour was able to withstand his heat producing barrier, above all, she had teleported to the inside of his barriers instead of rushing at him. She didn't use teleportation much in battle, this careless detail led to his defeat.
However his skill [Hellfire constitution] made his body made out of fire, he was effectively unharmed. His spiked pin hair swayed around his shoulders, carried by his flames. His elegant yet sharp features switched from a shocked expression to a mischievous one, his eyebrows turned to a V-shape and his teeth bared in a mad smile.
Lilith simply smiled back before teleporting away. Followed by the spear lodged in his heart--- exploding, leaving nothing left of him. He teleported outside the arena, lost.
