Chapter 116 - 62 - James(daily life 5)

It was unorthodox, unachievable for a normal person to beat a person with a 'commandment', 'sin' or 'authority'. Besides having an extremely powerful skill, their level cap increases to at least 3000 and they gain an SS-class where their class bonuses added 4 or 5 more digits to their stats. That was how absurd it was to fight such beings, yet...he didn't want to give up.

'But so what?', the thought echoed in his mind, reverberating with more intensity each time. His heart beat quickens to the point it chimed in his ear so loud he couldn't hear the surroundings and his cognitive ability deteriorated while he lost himself in his own thoughts before making a recovery.

Emily was sort of an unsurmountable wall, an embodiment of power, an ideal goal for James to target towards and improve himself. Without her, James would have stayed snobby 3 years ago, idling his life away in arrogance without a shred of thought about becoming stronger. 'It's all in the bloodline', 'it was only expected of him', 'it was the norm for children of this bloodline'. Having all his childish effort being written off by his family disgusted him to the very core. He absolutely wished to defy it, so he became the worst kind of noble he could muster. One that was snobby, lazy, arrogant and prideful. Deep down he wanted to run away forever, until he saw Emily.

Even though she started as a commoner, she worked her way to gain strength at every opportunity. Grinding in the dungeons almost everyday after school, such a feat could only be achieved by a madman, but after all that she still retained her humanity. Of course she was ruthless when she was attacked right after gaining nobility from the death of her uncle. But that was only a product of her effort, to keep growing stronger even if she was going to die.

When he saw how strong she was, his natural instinct as the obnoxious noble he was potraying told him to get stronger, defeat her in the tournament and humiliate her. 'What strength? You're just a lowly commoner!' As far as motivations go, that was just the start, it helped him gain a huge level difference over the general student populatuon, but it was not enough...

No matter what, his actions and skills were negated against him, no matter what he threw, Emily was able to overcome it in that single moment. It was as if she was filled with miracles, no...she was creating miracles on the spot. Such a feat was the actual ideal image of James, of who he wanted to be. Someone that could bust through any obstacle on the spot and work towards their goal.

It required incredible amounts of resolve, would you trade the world for power? If answered by Emily it would be 'yes, the world can just be brought back with the same power.' Such conviction birth more conviction inside James, being weaker than the opponents by having stats 10 times smaller than theirs? Emily would close it instantly! Such was the ridiculously inflated image that James had of Emily, when in fact it was not true at all.

In the face of such enemy, James could only laugh as he found someone easier to fight than Emily. After all, he is the heir of the family of light that boast the strongest buffs in the history of the kingdom, James Keral von Hisonne. Stepping forward out of the crowd, the teachers stared in horror as a mere student was standing out. Stats? Those aren't important at all from the sheer amount of buffs he was about to unleash.

As a level 800,he had gain many more light attribute skills while learning more from his family lineage. Who cares if he 'wasn't ready yet' or 'too early for this', he broke through the defense of his own security guards to get into the most secretive research centre of his family. In the face of such power, the staff members could only bow towards such a capable heir to the family they served for years. Some even reaching a few generations of service. In that very reasearch centre, he could only apologising for disturbing their work, but he still demanded the important spells the family's worked on for centuries.

Geisha stares down with his monocle while the other 4 looked around warily to see if it was a distraction. 30 seconds had passed since their arrival and the battle was about to start.

"[Absolute one] [Absolute resolve] [Absolute weapon] [God arm]

[High perception-tier 5]" (James)

[Absolute one] drains almost all the mana in the atmospher and funnels them into James blocking the opponent's mana regen while enhancing James' mana pool by 100 times. [Absolute resolve] negates any mind related debuffs. [Absolute weapon] channels all his strength, agility and intelligence stats into the attack power of his sword and transforms it to fit his power. [God arm] boosts his strength and agility by 500 times, and [High perception-tier 5] enhances his vision by 1000 times and his agility by 50 times.

Usually [God arm] couldn't be maintained with his mana pool, but [Absolute one] solves that problem. Due to [Absolute weapon] channelling his intelligence stat into his sword, after a single swing he can't maintain [god arm] [Herculean strength] and [Herculean strength EX] anymore, leaving him at a massive disadvantage, adding to it is the fatique that comes right after using [god arm].

He only had a single swing, one so powerful that it represented the ferocity of his soul after channeling his stats into it. Since he could only use a single attack, he might as well go all out and leave the rest to Fez. A light yellow like aura radiates out with James at the centre, breathing in fresh air into his throat, he unleashes the accumulation of his 4 year long effort, the effort he desperately used to tear down Emily and fail.

"[Final hit!!: End of life!!]" (James)

A representation of James' goal, to bring down every obstacle in his life. The sword splits into 5 and 'picks' a target each before flying so fast nobody could see it hit the opponents.

"[Truth]![ignorance is bliss]! Bind the attack to fate! Miss!"(Geisha)

[Ignorance is bliss] heals up a 'commandment' wielders hp and mana pool while making their unique skill even more potent. In this case his skill was basically [Fate lock] except less effective as [fate lock] came from an SS-class born from an 'authority' which was the highest rank, followed by 'sin' then 'commandment'. The potency was practically negated by James' [Absolute resolve] making his attack marginally miss each opponent.

With the drop in mana, all his skills deactivated leaving his fatiqued, practically paralysed self to collapse on the ground. Sounds of explosions rang out as smoke engulfed the battle field. The sword fragments that split had so much power that aftermath left violent explosions in its wake, destroying everything in its surroundings.

It didn't matter if the attack missed marginally if the shockwaves could kill you. Geisha, Hrug and Diuk were taken out at once. Not even a single brown and black hair was left. They were all taken out by overconfidence, Geisha in his 'commandment', Hrug and Diuk in their 400 billion speed that was somehow surpassed by a digit by James. That left them with the dark yellow haired Kris with a teleportation ability and the lime green haired Veur with a energy redirection ability. Their reactions contrasted each other as Kris frantically screamed while Veur kept his composure, indifferent to the deaths of 3 of his comrades.

At this point the team of 4 arrived while Fez stepped out of the crowd to face the last 2. 45 seconds has passed since Emily fought Veilcry.
