Chapter 112 - 58 - Daily life

Crawling off my bed, a dark purple magic circle engulfs the floor of the bedroom before particles arose from the ground. In mt place were those particles as I teleported into the bathroom in an upright position. Shielding my eyes with my left palm, I squinted in the magically generated ceiling light as I got ready to start my morning routine. Hmm, ain't this familiar? I use to have such a boring routine in my previous life as well. Can't help it, it meant that I lead a decent enough life if I was able to prepare myself every morning. Waking up to the smell of good food, my inner 11 year old awakened as I wet my tongue eith saliva.

Being refreshed enough and clean from my morning shower, I could muster enough energy to walk outside my room and head for the dining room. Teleporting now would be awful since muscles needed to be stretched every morning. I learned through the difficult way by having cramps when I tried to leave my desk for lunch break. It was kind of strange to have cramps despite being immortal, guess my muscles still need warm up.

The aroma of breakfast tickled my sense of smell as I entered the room to get myself a seat. Pulling out the chair, I sat down as I stared at my breakfast that was on a single platter. There were some smoked bacon and sunny side up eggs like a typical breakfast. Except it was real and enticing to sit in front of. Picking up the 2 utensils to my sides, I dug a fork and knife into the egg white as Kurisu walked out of the kitchen with a stylish lime apron on.

Kurisu usually just handles the finances and maybe some intelligence gathering, cooking breakfast wasn't part of her job. Which made me all the more happier to cherish this regular breakfast. The mansion was too large for 1 person to clean, but that was what magic is for. Magic circles all around the mansion gather dust and material to dump it out in the trash bin right outside the house with low tier teleportation. This kind of technology was on par with the households of the 7 great families, boosting the value of my house extremely high if I were to ever sell it.

Having their lords and a heir killed greatly damaged the clans that specialise in fire and wind magic. Recent sources of information told me they were recovering by getting a new heir from branch families or just using a sibling of the previous heir. I already knew about Kenny who was Fredarick's younger brother going to be a new heir, but what about the family that specialised in wind? I could roughly guess that they resorted to using a branch family member to act as the new heir.

The kingdom was going relatively peaceful as I didn't bother to invade random noble territories, it just wasn't worth my time. What the dead body in the dungeon symbolised was that there was someone far stronger than my current state. Meaning I physically cannot achieve my goal of being the strongest unless I grew stronger. It wasn't really helping that the cause of death was an authority. With that I could only guess on the method of attack and attempt to put up countermeasures.

At this point, I had [Soul immortality] which meant that I could reincarnate back with all my stats and skills even if I physically died. Something that could offset [soul immortality] was out there. I've only came into contact with one authority, so I couldn't tell what power the others have. It could be straight forward and match its name or be a very obscure interpretation of the power's name.

As time move forward in the new school, I naturally made some new friends, though I still stuck to Fez like a leech. Over time, our weekly sparring sessions showed some great results for Fez as she became incredibly proficient in close quarters combat, while I only improved a tiny bit. What the one year amounted to was that I learned the fact it was extremely hard to grow stronger. Grinding in the dungeons was futile and level 1000+s don't drop out of the sky, everyday. If it was too hard for me to level up by defeating something higher level than myself, grinding lower levels gave an even more mythical probability.

Originally there was such a thing as elemental advantage, but I closed that up in my earlier years with pure brute strength. Right now my stats were even more ridiculous than ever, if I wanted I could lift a few cities if nobody decided to intervene. I was practically a tactical nuke that surpassed an actual nuke in power.

My vitality was so high that debuffs may not even show physical symptoms, paralyze would just be a tiny numb, blindness was a tiny bit of lowering the light my eyes receive like lowering the brightness of a phone. Some debuffs like [Amputated] would litterally dissolve into mana in the atmosphere and not affect me at all. Those were just natural raw vitality, with the [Immortality] skill all the debuffs wouldn't even activate.

My days at the adventurer's academy weren't exactly eventful in the sense that I was always a step away from death, but it was a really fun time. There were some sport outings, group projects and other activities planned by the school for the students to get closer. Don't get me wrong, I was an extremely unsociable otaku in my previous life, so I decided to start the conversation for once and....bit my tongue.

"Hi, my name is Emirish. What ss yoursh?" From my skills, my tongue immediately recovered and gave me a strange sense of confidence thay led to me biting my tongue a second time. The other children laughed at the display as I attempted to introduce myself to a random person. What? This person that had so much strength can barely talk to someone without getting nervous? And so I was secretly sympathised with and made more easier to approach.

It was strange to say this myself, but my pure black hair withe white tips at the ends was definitely extremely rare and considered beautiful to the average brown hair in this fantasy world. It wasn't strange to inherit my mother's black hair, but the white tips were. Apparently I got those white streaks a week before my 7th birthday, basically when I first completely reincarnated. This strange hair colour gave an 'unapproachable flower' like atmosphere. What I was most surprised by was the fact that young children could have this perception. I call them young children but I'am currently 2 years younger than them. Then again they are at the age where puberty typically takes place.
