"Huh~, why are you out for so much blood?" (Sigare)
" Oh don't phrase it so badly~ I just thought leveling while fighting more opponents was perfect. I could eliminate my opponents and get stronger at the same time."
"Huh?! Tch, Jessald wanted you to know the wasuri family wants to make a non-aggresion pact. But that doesn't me my family will sit still. We watched yesterday's battle and we'll be preparing." (Sigare) Walking away with a foul mood, Sigare goes back to where he came from while I mulled over the new information. Good thing I took in the Bodem clan's private army. This should make them hesitate for a while.
The only problem was that, I'm going to be a horrible commander. Horrible not as in the moral sense, it's too late after I started killing people besides my uncle. I just don't have any experience taking command whatsoever other than my [Summon demon] and [Summon undead] familiars. A second problem would be the Bodem clan. The clan wasn't exactly under the ownership of the child Vikarv. I should expect some resistance to take back their son which basically became a slave.
The Wasuri clan was always a bit odd. Or maybe I was under the wrong impresion and Jessald was just bad at making friends. If that was the reason, I would just feel bad. A non-aggression pact huh~? Perhaps there will be some catch in the contract. Too bad, I dabbled with that stuff when dealing with Fez.
Right now, other than the backing of the tsumond clan, I haven't made any significant progress other than enslaving one of the heirs.
I guess, I'll have to fight with Sigare today. If I could, I wanted to end it fast. *dong! Dong! * The bell resounded signalling the end of school time. Without wasting another second, I out up [Abyssal dome] in a small radius that only covered my body before firing shadow spears at Sigare. Sigare would usually seat at the bottom left corner but he had predicted my attack and stood on the other side of the class room. Wooden spears rain from every direction with velocity that easily surpasses a tier-3 spell.
He planned an ambush as well?! Using [Shadow step] to teleport out, I formed a scythe out of shadows as I approached Sigare. Spinning the scythe with my strength, it seemed that [Scythe mastery] worked as I didn't need to use mana to move it anymore.
*UURGH! * Roots burst out of my torso as I walked closer to Sigare. Tch, when did he plant them!? Was it earlier when we were conversing? Tch, how did I not notice it. A warm crimson spills out of my throat as I continued to stare at Sigare. 'Wrath', rewinding time, the roots shrank back and my torso was back to normal as well. This was the strangest sensation I've felt. The seeds Sigare planted were still trying to grow, constantly using 'wrath' was taking a toll on my concentration.
Hey, why should I walk when I cna just teleport next to him. Using [Shadow step], a mix of brown and red filled my vision. The growth was accelerated and the tree instantly burst forth with some of my organs out. "AAAAAAAAAH!", 'wrath'. Rewinding back, I dragged my body forward. Sigare used the situation as a distraction and had already kept his distance.
Making use of [Abyssal dome], I destroyed the seeds with the shadow element. Fuu~ Now that's much better. Going into my battle stance, I activated [Stealth] and [Illusion]. Trees sprouted around Sigare to protect him, did he forget I could teleport? Whatever, as if some measly trees could actually protect him. Giving a slight wave with my scythe, my strength stat obliterated the surroundings by sending a shockwave. Everyone else was watching from the sidelines, protected by the [duel] system.
Now that I think about it, it kind of sounds like Yu-gi-⚪h. Putting my thoughts aside, the trees barely survived the shockwave as I lunged closer at a speed other people's eyes couldn't follow. Not that anyone besides Fez and the teachers could see through my [Stealth]. Let alone [stealth], [Illusion] could trick other people's senses, even if they gained a 6th sense through a skill.
Lines of cuts appeared all over my body, causing me to stop for a second. This must be the [String manipulation] that shows up in light novels. Though, this one seems to be made of wood. Anyway, these were just that. They barely cut my skin let alone actually injure me. It was as if they were just paper cuts. My lunging speed broke all the wooden threads that he laid. I don't know how durable is a level 1000 wood element user, but this element seems to be very boring.
If it was anyone else other than possible fire element users, they would have been taken out at the start by the parasites. This battle was rather boring, I should keep my word and make it short. It was extremely painful going through the parasites, but this person doesn't seem like he has any other trump card. Swinging my scythe down, a wooden barrier surrounds me as I hear a cry from the other side. My scythe slid across the barrier as if it was butter, Sigare's attempt of being a bait failed.
The barriers collapse into mana as I stare at the boy with a huge slash mark across his torso. "AAAAAH! AAAAAAAA!! UGHHH!" (Sigare) " There was some blood shooting out of his left as the rest of his shirt was stained with blood. Bending down, I took this chance. " Neh~ I can make this pain go away in exchange for something", I whispered down his ear.
Bearing the pain, he clenched his teeth as he nodded his head as hard as he could. Whispering in his ear once more, I made sure to deal as much damage as possible. "Now give me everything you own, just nod twice. Unless you want this to happen to your parents as well?" Widening his eyes in shocked, he turned his face down and nodded twice. Using 'wrath' to remove the wound, Sigare punched the floor in regret as his tears dripped down his cheeks. His brown hair swaying in the wind, he continues to stare at the ground.
Other then accidentally destroying the classroom, I'd say today was a good day. Using [shadow step], I remanifested outside the school as I began to walk home. The smell of smoke fills my nostrils as I began to walk faster. Frederick von Hofeur and Seryu von Zakwin. The heirs of the family of fire and the family of wind respectively. Frederick had pink hair that curved to his right, along with a white hoodie and some black jeans, Seryu had black hair along with a yellow neon shirt and light blue trousers.
The Hofeur family supposedly specialised in using magic and doing percentage damage and the Zakwin family specialised in air battles. Did they band together after watching the previous battles? Well, I don't mind. This makes things far simpler.
