What remained of the earth giants' town after Morgana and the Earthborn King concluded their battle looked pretty much like a disaster zone to Leo's mind. Processing what happened next took up so much space in his brain that the memory of the brown-haired woman was lost in the shuffle.
The stalagmites that had once soared up to the very heavens had mostly been sliced in half when Morgana drew her [SICKLE SWORD] across the air. Much of their remains — the glistening stone towers and their highly detailed stone carvings — were now chunks of rubble spread out along the town's wide streets.
The bowl-like valley of stone was cracked in several places from the rampage of the other earth giants who sought to escape after their leader fell.
Basically, the town was a ruin, and it was impressive how it only took Leo and his companions barely half a day to destroy it.
