"So… you want to know the truth of the abomination's curse and if there's a cure for this malady?" Morrigan at Twilight summed up Ath3na's explanation.
"Also, we'd really like to avoid a fight," Ath3na added.
"I strongly second that," Jaybird chimed in.
Morrigan at Twilight's eyes fell on him, and Ath3na could see a fondness in her gaze. It was almost like she was looking at a grandson or a very old friend.
One of these days, she was going to have to ask Jaybird how exactly he and Morrigan at Dawn interacted. Or perhaps their meeting had only just begun. It was quite difficult to wrap one's head around, the idea of a being living in the past, present, and future at exactly the same time.
"Come closer, Jaybird," she said, ushering him forward with a hand. "I have a reward for the champion who bested Pride and its siblings."
