Over the hours, they had not come up empty-handed. At least, they knew that the mine was layered.
It didn't take much imagination to know that to escape from this mine, they would need to venture into deeper levels.
"Of course, I know. Since you're not interested in searching, I won't either." Edward sounded slightly disappointed. Despite knowing that Li Yao wouldn't make a move, she couldn't help but be on guard. She had wanted to find her helpers first, but she was disappointed. "My spiders detected two opportunities to descend. One is safer but requires two hours of travel time; the other has already been discovered and is about a quarter-hour journey away."
"Take the closest one. Let your spider lead the way," Li Yao said.
"Alright."
Subsequently, the Battle Scorpion adjusted its course and charged directly towards the rock wall.
