Soon, everyone reached the top and discovered that they had entered a luxurious hall. Despite a millennium having passed, the place still radiated the splendor and opulence of nobility.
In the hall was an enormous, splendid carpet, and a sheer curtain obscured everyone's view. Behind the curtain, they could vaguely make out an enchanting silhouette reclining on a soft couch.
"Young man, you're not bad. Continue, I want to hear if you can really trace back the history accurately," said a raspy yet pleasing female voice.
"Of course, no problem, but for more detail, I will need to search around here," Li Yao replied. What he called research was, in fact, the use of archaeology to investigate further.
