In the darkness, Sin Jeong-Hyuk walks toward Chang Seol's house. His face is worn out and his hair is a tangled mess.
He's been through a lot.
From getting out of a dense forest to being mistaken as a homeless person, Sin Jeong-Hyuk has lived through all kinds of experiences today. The expired bun was barely enough and the money was short for the train ride. He had to take a bus.
Tonight, the lights are on.
"She's back here." Sin Jeong-Hyuk glowers at the house. The place where she abandoned him is so far south that they could have reached J Island if she had flown further.
Lesson learned. One should not fall asleep next to an angry woman.
Climbing each step is a challenge for him. Sin Jeong-Hyuk knocks on the door. "Chicken."
No answer.
He knocks harder. "CHICKEN!"
Still, no answer.
