"Sin Jeong-Hyuk, you didn't have to say it like that." Mun Soyoon glowers at him. "How are you ever going to produce her if you continuously make her hate you?"
He gulps down his drink. "I don't care anymore."
"So you are giving up." Yoon In Jae sighs. "If that's your decision, then we can only accept."
He doesn't respond to Yoon In Jae. Sin Jeong-Hyuk stares hard at Mun Soyoon. "Did you know?"
"Nope." She takes a sip of her drink. "That girl is good at keeping secrets. She didn't say it once. Then again, why would she not want to use her talent?"
"I don't know." Sin Jeong-Hyuk doesn't even want to think. "I will return to S City tomorrow."
"You are really giving up." Yoon In Jae puts his head on the table. "Alright, I will also return to S City. Business isn't working here anyway. I want to leech off my rich father."
"You are doing well, In Jae." Mun Soyoon pats his shoulder. "How can I leave you alone? I will also go back to S City. Let's party every night."
"Soyoon, I love you," Yoon In Jae smirks at her.
"This hate is mutual." Mun Soyoon rolls her eyes. "I wonder how Gun is doing."
"I am sure that he will be fine." Yoon In Jae puckers his lips as he peers at Sin Jeong-Hyuk. "Are you sure about your decision, Jeong-Hyuk?"
"What do you think?" Sin Jeong-Hyuk answers him bitterly, "I shouldn't have gotten close to her. Now, I am not who I should be."
"None of us are." Mun Soyoon raises her glass. "Let's just have fun for the rest of our lives."
"Sounds like a plan." Yoon In Jae clinks his glass with hers.
Sin Jeong-Hyuk shrugs as he finishes his drink.
After some time, both Mun Soyoon and Yoon In Jae stare hard at Sin Jeong-Hyuk.
"Isn't he drinking too much?" Yoon In Jae asks Mun Soyoon. "It's still day time."
"He might empty your pub today." Mun Soyoon clicks her tongue. "Drowning in sorrow… It should be drowning your blood vessels in alcohol."
"I can't get too drunk." Sin Jeong-Hyuk gives them a dark look. "My tolerance is way higher than yours."
Sin Jeong-Hyuk's phone starts vibrating again.
"Show off!" Yoon In Jae glances at Sin Jeong-Hyuk's phone. "Aren't you going to pick up? It's been vibrating for a long time."
Sin Jeong-Hyuk glares at the phone in annoyance. "It's better not be Ji Ye."
"That one is annoying," Mun Soyoon grumbles.
"Oh Ji Ye, the actress?" Yoon In Jae's eyes become big and sound. "That one is sexy for sure."
"Tch!" Mun Soyoon gulps down the soju, wishing to immerse in alcohol quickly.
Irritated by the phone's vibration, He glances at the number before he picks up the call. He can barely keep his voice sober. "Yeon-Sik, what's wrong?"
[Did you do something to Chang Seol?]
"I don't have any relationship with her." He wrinkles his nose. "I don't know anyone with that name from this moment on."
Mun Soyoon snorts as if she has heard the most hilarious joke in a while.
"Does he act like this everyday?" Yoon In Jae leans close to Mun Soyoon and whispers in her ear, "Why is he acting so strange?"
"He ate the wrong medicine today." Mun Soyoon cracks into laughter. "I think that she makes him horny."
[So, something did happen.] A heavy sigh. [Jeong-Hyuk, why do you bully that girl?]
Sin Jeong-Hyuk narrows his eyes on Mun Soyoon dangerously. She and Yoon In Jae ignore him and continue to whisper to each other.
"What did she do this time?"
[She quit the university today.]
"What?" His brain is completely sober now. Sin Jeong-Hyuk clenches his fingers into a fist. "When did she get the time to do that? She left a while ago."
[I was informed a moment ago that an architecture student submitted the university withdrawal application. I went to take a look and found out that it's her.]
"Damn it." Sin Jeong-Hyuk recalls the words that she said to Yoon In Jae. "You can't let that application be processed."
[I managed to have put a hold on to it. If she doesn't come tomorrow, I won't be able to hold her application anymore. I tried calling her but her phone is not connecting. You better apologize to her tonight and convince her to come to university tomorrow.]
The call is hung up.
"What happened?" Mun Soyoon props her chin under her hand. "Oppa, you look like you have seen a ghost. Oh well… you wouldn't show that face if you saw a ghost for real. That means it got something to do with Chang Seol."
Yoon In Jae claps his hand. "She's a legend."
"We need to head home." Sin Jeong-Hyuk stands up. "That kid is acting crazy again."
"Can I come?" Yoon In Jae raises his arm. "I want to come."
"Nope." Sin Jeong-Hyuk takes long strides toward the door. Today, he's going to have a talk with that girl. Why does she have to create troubles for everyone in the sharehouse? If she wants to quit so much, she should do it after he's gone.
Something keeps happening and it always involves her. Mun Soyoon lets out a suppressed laughter as she gets up and follows Sin Jeong-Hyuk. Her mind is half-drunk and half-crazy. As she staggers on her feet, Yoon In Jae holds her.
"You are too drunk to move." He makes a face at her. "Let me help you to his car."
"Sure." She wraps her arm around his shoulders and raises her chin to whisper in his ear, "If you want to see some chaotic drama, get into the back seat with me and don't get out no matter what he says. He's in a hurry. So he won't kick you out."
How could he let go of this opportunity? Yoon In Jae gives her a toothy grin. "I am totally in."
