"Your eyes should be on the sword."
The sword in Chang Seol's hands tremble. She has no idea why she's learning how to use a weapon. Can't she just turn into who she truly is and peck on people? That's way easier than holding a sword that is heavier than her.
Qeor senses the question in her eyes, although she hasn't spoken it. "There are times when we have to take human forms to fight with our enemies."
"Really?" She is breathless. Where did he find this giant sword from? It's hot. "Can't we use something else? This sword feels like…"
"It should feel like that." He stands behind her and curls his fingers over her hand that is holding the hilt of the sword. "Is it better now?"
A cooling sensation seeps into her hand. Chang Seol blinks her eyes. The dark sword turns lighter. She looks up at the man behind her, unfazed by their proximity. "What happened?"
