The day after was the last day of the year and it fell on Saturday. So Aylin said to Nia that she too should stay home for tomorrow as she was staying, Nia agreed to her but forbade her to ruin her day by doing nothing. Aylin too agreed.
As tomorrow arrived and turned to today Aylin woke up and shouted to Nia's ear, "Nia wake up it's morning and it's the last day of the year... How can you not wake up? It's the last day, do you want to write the last chapter of the year by waking up late...Wake up Nia."
Nia in her drowsey voice, "What's the time?"
"Umm it's already 10 AM." said Aylin.
Nia woke up with a shock and said, "Huh...Is to so?" All her dizziness fade away, she then saw the clock and screamed, "How could you? It's only been 4 and every day we wake at 6."
Aylin with her innocent smile, "Okay then, you can sleep now."
Nia, "What would I do now, I've already lost my sleep."
Ummm... we can do one thing we can go on a walk and get fresh air",said Aylin. Nia nodded and said, "Okay".
They went on jogging and the time they passed by Mino's house, Nia didn't see Mino out staring through the window this brought a smile on her face and she said to herself, "that lame kid must be sleeping". While they were jogging Nia asked Aylin for the reason for waking her up so early. She said she just wanted to save two hours and spend those hours with her as they both remained too busy at their works.Nia smiled to her and said, "Today, the whole day I'll be spending with you. Happy now?" Aylin, "Love you".
Way through the park they went to grave yard from where you could have a great view of sunrise, it felt like the sun just rose from the river and then they went to their father's grave to wish him goodmorning and ask for blessings on the last day of the year and later, returned home.
On the way of returning home they passed by Mino's house. Nia was so happy to see nobody at the window, but as they just passed by, Mino got awake from his sleep, pulled the curtains and opened the window, though he still was sleepy but he noticed something just passed by and when he rubbed his eyes he screamed, "Oh no God!!! Why you always have to do this to me." He was not able to see Aylin's face but he knew they just passed by. He could do nothing than to peep from the window to see the last sight of her. Then for no reason Nia suddenly turned back she saw Mino looking through the window in deep disappointment as if someone had just stolen a child's candy from his mouth. Nia smiled within herself and said to Aylin, "It feels like it must be the best day of the year." Aylin, "But how?" "Just thoughts" , said Nia.
Nia, her mom and Aylin enjoyed the whole day by cooking, playing chess,dancing,watching movies, singing and so on. It was the evening time when her mother presented them a dress which were rapped in a box. They hugged her and said how thankful they were. Her mom, "No, no, no not now, first go try it."
Aylin was very happy seeing her gift and screamed then and there, "Oh mom I loved it.. I love you.. white is my favorite color". On the other hand Nia saw the dress and said to herself, " God I don't were this kind of dresses but it's of my favorite color black and it's too beautiful for me but what will I do of this backless.. will I able to manage this dress? I think I'm gonna die out of shame."
Both were two different gowns with their own lovely designs. When they both came out from the room wearing that dress her mom, "God... both of my darlings look angels". She then said there was one more surprise, she gives it to them, Aylin was madly screaming, "Mama I love you so much". It was the invitation for the Grand Eve and said, "Guess what we all three are going to it and this was your dress for." Both Aylin and her mom happily screamed cause this Grand Eve was only held on the leap year's year.
Then their eyes fell on Nia she was bit tensed .Her mom, "You didn't like the dress honey?" "I loved it mom (and then she turned back to show the backless) but..".Aylin, "Woo..Never noticed, you look this hot!" Her mom nodding her head, "Yes she really do and I too never noticed." Nia screaming, "Mom I'll be dead shy and instead of helping you both are teasing me". Both her mom and sister laughed badly looking at her, being shy.
Aylin went to Nia and said let me do one thing, instead of helping she drew a line on her spines with her fingers leaving her shivered up. Nia kicked her and said , "Do it again and you are dead".Her mom was busy enjoying their fight and later said, "It's okay honey there will be many people and nobody's gonna notice that". They all got ready and went for the Grand Eve.
