"Matt! Are we really taking her with us? You didn't even allow Mike to come with us because of how dangerous it was wouldn't it be more dangerous for her?" asked Ethan as he didn't want their speed to be slowed because of the tantrums of an actress.
"What can we do? Do you want us to go back to the hotel and lock her in one of the rooms? How much time would that waste and there is a swarm of zombies continuously coming towards the left side of our hotel for the unknown purpose it will be much riskier if we take her back now!" replied Matt
This time Ethan didn't say anything as he understood what Matt said was right so he stops himself and focuses on the task at hand which was to reach the Manhattan Mall.
But Matt wasn't done with Chloe as he turned his head and glared at her if the makers of Batman movies had seen this glare of him than Matt would definitely have been signed for the role f Batman as his glare was really frightening. After looking at his glare once, Chloe couldn't even raise her head as she was constantly looking at her feet.
"Why? I won't ask again Chloe tell me why?" growled Matt.
"I lost my bag which on the night the apocalypse started and all my important things with it since I knew you were going to the Mall I thought I could ask you to take me with you so I could bring back some necessary things for me and Grace but then you said that only you and Ethan will go and won't budge so I decided to follow you to the mall a-and than I will come back following you" explained Chloe.
"What are these necessary things that you couldn't tell me about!? If you had told would I have said no if they were necessary to you? Seriously what are these necessary things Toothbrush! Makeup! Dresses! After talking to you last night I thought you were better than that!" Matt said.
"..Ra ..nd Pa...s" whispered Chloe
"What? Could you speak a little louder" Matt said as even with his enhanced senses he couldn't hear what she was saying.
"Bra and Panties! These were the necessary things" stated Chloe as she glared back at Matt.
"Wh-Wh-Wh-What!?" exclaimed Ethan while Matt became silent as he didn't know how to react.
"They are really necessary to women okay, and I couldn't ask from others and neither could Grace because even if we did your sizes are different. I know I did wrong following you but after this I know we won't get the chance to get them and I was too embarrassed to ask you to bring them and even if I did how would you differentiate between them do you know anything about bra and panties?" asked Chloe
Matt was once again silent and didn't reply to Chloe's question as his mind was somewhere else, maybe because it has been almost 2 months since his last action with Susan, Matt was picturing Chloe in black lacy Bra and Pantie after what she said.
"Matt I think we should start moving otherwise it will be a problem if more zombies started to move in this direction," Ethan said trying to break the tension after getting his bearings back.
Matt returned from his trance after hearing Ethan's words and became serious once again.
'Shit, I need to get laid after this mission!' Matt thought as he looked at his map
After getting past this lane and the shops in front of them, they would enter the 33rd street from there they have to walk for another 10 minutes to their right to cover the distance of 500 meters to reach the Manhattan Mall. But those 10 minutes will be difficult as the road is straight and if a zombie sees them than the noise he makes will make the other zombies notice them.
So Matt had already planned that they would walk through this lane first and when the distance is less than 100 meters they would cross it and enter the 33rd street.
Since Chloe was unarmed Matt gave him two military knives to defend herself if the times comes, since she knows hand to hand combat Matt believed it won't be hard for her to dodge a zombie and then stab it with the knife if she faces them directly and isn't jumped at by them.
Matt signaled the two to follow him as he walked towards his right with his back on the wall of the parking lot of the hotel while he didn't forget to look at the map from time to time. He has already decided to hide whenever he sees a red light on his map walking towards them.
When he reaches the other end of the hotel's parking lot Matt stops as there is an intersection here joining the lane to the main road of 34th street and in this intersection, a horde of zombies were gathered last night and are still increasing. SO instead of just continue walking towards his right Matt stopped and looked at the shop in front of him. It was a 3 story shop while next to it was a two-story one. Matt had already decided to use the shops to pass through these hordes of zombies last night so without any delay, he signaled Ethan who understood what Matt wanted and walked towards him.
Stay here and keep your eyes and ears open, if you feel that even a single zombie is coming here than signal me.
Ethan nodded his head and exchanged places with Matt, who walked towards Chloe and grabbed her hand pulling her to follow him.
The door of the shop was of course locked but luckily it was the backside of the door so even if the gate was a metal door with a lock Matt had no problem if it was a shutter door than there would have been a big problem.
Using his Kukri, Matt cuts the lockdown without making any sound by simply pressing the knife on it. It was like a knife and butter, Chloe who was standing behind him had her mouth open in shock when she saw how he cuts the lockdown.
