"Mmm"
Stretching lazily on a mound of furs, a dazzling figure curled her nine tails back around her body for warmth after being pestered by noises surrounding her. Her long fiery red hair spread alluringly around her whole body, her long legs tucked up to her chest, and her tall ears laid back against her head making her appear as if she was pouting. As she slowly fluttered her eyelashes and opened her eyes, the golden irises attempting to focus after such a long sleep were simply dazzling.
"So noisy!!! Can't a goddess get any sleep around here! Wait… why are there noises in this cave?"
She quickly scanned the area and realized there was a party of peo… no that's not right… not all of them are people! 'Seems as if I need to investigate this group before I make my presence known.' Sitting up from the make-shift, warm and cozy bed, she unfurled her tails while smoothing out the fur on each one. An unreadable glint flashed in her golden eyes, one would wonder what was going through her mind at that point in time.
As she sneakily moved her body through the corridors of the cave, she made sure to keep her aura as nonexistent as possible. The lining of the walls had many crevices that one could disappear into quickly. The lack of light also aided in this of course. As she turned a corner, the smell of food wafted into her nostrils, just as she was beginning to get delirious from the smell and her own hunger, her stomach decided to let out a furious growl that practically shook the walls of the cave.
Up ahead the group instantly turned towards the rear of the cave when they heard a ferocious sounding growl as if a wild beast just had its meal taken away from it. If one could see the furious blush that was creeping up the pretty face who owns the things that made that sound, perhaps instead of a momentary fright they would then be left in a puddle of laughter.
Kirin: "I thought this cave was empty? Why have we not sensed any auras that could produce a sound like that?"
Jun: "Are we sure it's a beast?"
Ji: "Perhaps the smell of the food woke it up?"
Ruishi: "I don't mind sharing but it isn't getting my steak!"
Ze: 'Is that all you can think about at this moment? Seriously?'
Ruishi: "Um.. yea food is life…"
Ze: *rolls eyes* 'Honestly how shameless can you get? What about… you know?' *wiggles eyebrows*
Ruishi: *Stares at the ceiling* "I don't get the meaning… wait do you mean that? No! How could you?"
Varick: "... Is this really a conversation we should be having? Do you have no shame at all!? There is a woman present..."
Everybody: "..."
These men are really shameless…Completely exasperated Kirin could no longer entertain this conversation any longer and focused again at the rear of the cave.
As this debate was going on the pair of golden eyes that were attached to the beautiful face suddenly went wide at this conversation topic as the rest of her turned a deeper shade of red than her hair and fur. "What kind of people are these!!!??" She whispered to herself while in utter shock.
At this point she failed to notice the heavenly body slowly making its way towards the crevice she had hidden herself in. aside from the dazed state she was in during the realization of what the conversation was leading to, her mind went blank after a certain person turned around and faced her direction. Following her line of sight would be of no use as everyone was crowded at this point. Even so a little flash streaked across her golden eyes at that moment.
Watching this reaction, Kirin slowly moved closer to the figure in the dark with glowing golden eyes that seemed to not notice anything around. Kirin continued and spoke in a low and soft tone, "Who are you? Can I know your name?"
Shocked at the sudden appearance of a person within her sight she leapt backwards and readied herself in a fighting stance as her tails whipped about furiously. After seeing this reaction Kirin let out a small chuckle at the shocked expression on the girl's small pretty face.
After seeing that Kirin was making no further moves she began to relax a bit and lowly muttered, "I was just woken up and saw you all here in my cave is all I meant no harm. "At that she lowered her eyes and found the floor particularly interesting.
"Hey guys you want to take a break from your 'fun' conversation for a moment and come back here… hey! Put your weapons down she doesn't mean any harm"
"She…?" This question was blurted out in unison as they all altered their gazes towards Kirin and the mystery woman at the back of the cave.
As she looked up with her golden orbs and locked eyes with the one she saw earlier, a shy blush began to creep up her face again and she felt a little hot. Once his eyes locked onto hers he froze for a moment, it's as if a memory was trying to break through but it didn't know how. Brushing it aside he walked forward to greet the newcomer.
"What is your name?"
She looked down and bit her lip for a moment as she softly replied, "My name is Yoko Akane… you can call me Akane if you want… um.. I don't mind it. What are all of you doing here?"
Her voice sounded like little tinkling bells when she spoke, you could almost miss her words if you didn't pay close enough attention.
'Grrrrooowwwlll!!!!'
At that moment Akane's stomach let out a roiling snarl again, Akane lowered her ever reddening face as the rest burst out into a huge cacophony of laughter as realization hit about the sound they heard earlier. "Hehe are you hungry? Would you like something to eat? We have plenty." Kirin softly spoke to the girl and softened her gaze at her.
Nodding her head shyly Kirin led her to another area where they left the food. As Akane gazed at the feast in front of her she couldn't help it when her mouth filled itself with saliva at the sight. Her senses went into overdrive as she almost lost herself. Quickly regaining her composure she sat elegantly and awaited to be served. While normally they would just dig in, everyone turned to look at the girl who was still waiting for the food to magically appear on her plate.
Shaking her head a little, Kirin began to serve Akane while explaining the way things were done in this group and what they were doing here as well about their missing friend Shou. When they explained the features of the man who took her her expression changed drastically. "This… How can that be?" Akane stated while in a deep contemplation.
