Dawn has come.
And time had stopped.
Dayie held the dagger which spewed golden threads. The dagger then lit up and as she sliced through the monsters, a resonance echoed. Dayie couldn't help but see everything slowing down except for her. Even Ephraim had stopped mid-way.
'Now. This is the opportunity.' That voice.
Dayie turned to that voice.
"Al…"
Silver hair and transparent, blue eyes. Al stared at her. He was still looking like a child, but he looked more aged than she was. Was she imagining things. "Are you… real? Or are you just a fragment of my imagination?"
Al simply answered, "I never left your side, Dayie."
He then stared at the distance. "Time hadn't stopped. It just slowed down because you didn't command the timeframe in particular."
