It was dark, and strangely the air harbored a heavy weight on it—it was as if there was an obscure force that wafted at the atmosphere, drilling its weight to them. Dayie and Ephraim walked into the halls of the castle using Dayie's route. The entirety was silent and void of any signs of life. Ephraim guessed that perhaps all the residents of the palace were asleep.
However…
"It's oddly silent." Dayie remarked.
It had been more than a minute since they entered the castle. The concealing magic they had already faded not too long ago. There was no way they would be able to get away so easily—or at the very least, that was what Ephraim thought.
