The southern desert of Patriarge is the home for desert hyenas and sabertoothed tigers. The desert hyenas pose minimal to moderate threat, but the sabers are considered to be high-level. Sabertooth or the 'Smilodon' tigers are color white and blue in nature. They had black stripes and were large enough to take on three humans at the same time. They are said to live in oases but could be found roaming around the desert when the oasis runs out of food.
Smilodon tigers are high-level threats that are notably due to their killing rate. Stories about them ripping off human heads and devouring travelers' bodies have been circulating over the past few years. They are to watch out from, that's for sure.
