Dayie stared at the man whom she was unfortunate to call her brother. He was glowering down at her—the same way as he did before. The difference right now was that Bahath had more authority now—he holds more power.
Whatever he chooses to do will be absolute.
He was the king.
'There's no way I would let myself be killed with someone like this. Not when change is just a distance away.' Dayie said to herself as she measured her gaze with Bahath, who didn't look too pleased with her beating the guards so easily.

Bahath stared at the frail-looking Dayie—although she looked much scarred now and looked more unruly, she was still a woman. Really, what can a woman do when her legs are all tied and she's surrounded by men who can easily take her down?
But then again, she's a thief.
