Chapter 163 - The Story of a Girl (Part 3)

Dayie had always regarded herself as a girl who had taken over her father's characteristics, yet in terms of her wit, she considers to have inherited it from her mother.

Her mother loved all things black. She said it made her able to conceal herself from the masses, but to Dayie, the clothes made it rather easier to track down her mother. Dayie closed the book that she was holding. It was already noon and the servants, around any time now, should call her for lunch.
