The door to his office cabin opened slowly and Amelia entered quietly. She saw Jayden holding his head and twisting his eyebrows. She thought that he was suffering from a headache. With closed eyes, Jayden failed to notice Amelia as his mind was occupied with Jennifer.
She moved behind him and started to massage his scalp. Jayden suddenly thought Jennifer was back, so he pulled the hands that were massaging his head and brought her to his lap.
Amelia asked while trying to balance herself, "How could you not go on a date with me, even after I tried so hard for the last two years? And now look at you taking the initiative, you naughty boy…"
Amelia hugged him and right at that moment the elevator door opened. Jennifer came out with a smiling face, but after looking at the scene in front of her, her smile froze. She felt like someone had stabbed her with a sharp knife on her chest. She tightened her fist and tried to stay calm.
