Alex struggled to stop the tears that were about to stream down his eyes. He knelt on the ground and hid his face. In a few seconds, Jennifer heard a weeping sound below her.
She looked at him with sympathy. She was not good at consoling anyone. She blinked her eyes and tried to think of something to say to him. But in the end, she decided that it was better to let him cry.
Jennifer leaned against the car and she received a call from Jayden. She rolled her eyes but still, she flashed a smile on the corner of her lips.
"Hello… Why are you calling? Didn't I say I would be back soon?" Jennifer said.
"I miss you," Jayden said and stayed silent after that.
"I know," Jennifer blushed and turned around.
She didn't want to feel happy when someone was crying next to her. But talking to Jayden made her feel blessed and she couldn't help being slightly content.
"What are you doing?" Jayden asked.
"Talking," she replied.
"Ok," He said.
