"I need to use the washroom. I will be right back," Jennifer shouted and dashed towards the bathroom without looking behind.
Before Jayden could even react or reply to her, she had gone inside the bathroom and locked the door hurriedly. She held her thumping heart with both her hands and stood against the door. She knew in her heart that she was ready to take the next step with him. But her brain sent her warning signals. She was afraid that she might hurt him once again.
